Very nice relaxing stay.

I was charged a fee for the hot tub although it was never used

No bed, old out dated dirty soiled sofa bed. Dirty kitchen, outdated dirty appliances. Steam room is falling apart and disgusting. The hot tub sits in the parking lot and faces an unkept yard. Clutter in the yard, garbage in the yard, clutter on the porch. Rusty old bikes and beach chairs, the whole place is just disgusting. When asked for refund owner tried to send caretaker after dark, I was a woman staying alone, would not answer door after dark to stranger. Fighting with VRBO for a full refund. Left the home and found a another location.

Great spot. So close to the beach and the hot tub was amazing!

This place was perfect for two! It was small, but so fun and had everything we needed plus more. It was a quick walk to the hot tub and beach and a quick drive to food, shopping and the casino. It was cold so we didn’t get to take advantage of the free bicycles or beach equipment, but we’ll definitely be back. The pinball and massage chair were a nice touch! Super cozy spot!

This place is so warm and cozy. Like walking back in time with the old kitchen appliances. Perfect for a winter getaway with a hot tub & amazing massage chair. The city is so beautiful to explore from Bennett’s Antique Store to Tavern on 12. Highly recommended will be booking again soon. Host was super responsive and respectful.

The amenities were great it was the simple fact that no pets were allowed which wasn't the problem, it was the fact that the people in the unit beside us had two dogs and would bark like crazy Everytime they were let out. It was so loud and so often that we didn't even stay the night we left after just a couple hours. Big waste of money

Hot tub was great!

Everything was as described. The cottage was clean and cozy, the hot tub was clean. The only thing I would warn about is the terrain is uneven, so if you have mobility concerns, you may want to take that into consideration. I do believe the host did a good job describing the area. The walk to the beach is all on sand and was a little rough on my knees. But the hot tub helped with that! We had a nice relaxing stay.

The place was accurately described in the listing, it is very small and cozy but easy access to the beach and we weren’t in the room much. It would have been nice for the comfy chair and massage chair to be swapped so there was a comfy place to sit while watching TV

Host was great! Really clean and right on Lake Michigan beach. Cottage is nice and cozy for a relaxing time. We had a great time and if your looking for an amazing place away from the busy city life, this is the place for you. Will definitely recommend to family and friends.

The location was PERFECT. Just a 5 minute walk down a sandy path to a beautiful beach and Lake Michigan! The tiny cottage was perfect for two people. The bed however is very very hard. If you’re young you’d be okay, but us older folks don’t do well on firm beds lolOther than that our weekend stay was perfect!

We love this location. The landscaping was beautiful. We didn’t use the hot tub as it is not in a secluded location. But we still love this little spot and look forward to our next visit.

We didn't spend much time in the cottage , busy doing stuff for her birthday. But the cottage was nice.

It was quiet and clean and very enjoyable for me and my fiance! Will be going again!

Relaxing

It was a great time . My wife loved the beach. It got me some brownie points.. definitely gonna rent it again in the future..

It was great for a winter weekend getaway. We didn’t use the hot tub or sauna so no word on that. We also couldn’t view the wildlife. But the pinball machine and massage chair were amazing for the indoor activity. No dead bolt and we couldn’t figure out where the pop machine was. BUT we have already booked it again for the spring and summer. It was small, as listed. It was clean with fresh linen. We look forward to checking out the hot tub and beach next time.

Good for relaxing

The hosts were very communicative and gave good advice for places to check out in the area (some interesting antique shops). The rental is snug, as expected, but the amenities were pleasant and you can’t go wrong with beach access! Would recommend for others interested in checking out the area .

Beautiful location and great access to the beach.We will come back in the summer to enjoy the beach more. Wildlife lovers will really enjoy this place. Very affordable.

Loved all the amenities, My 16 yr. old granddaughter and I celebrated her birthday here. We rode a tandem bike, paddle boarded and kayaked on Lake Michigan, played pinball, used the massage chair (great) and hot tub, popped popcorn and enjoyed free soft drinks. They even made bike helmets and lifejackets available. A tiny space with everything you need! Bigger spaces managed by the same peeps are near-by- perfect for a family vacation with grandparents in the smaller place!

Everything was well represented. Pinball machine was very fun. Didn’t try the hot tub. Lake Michigan and sand dunes were beautiful.

This place was a lot of fun. Such a tiny house but so much to do. It was exactly how it is was described. We also visited New Buffalo and St Joseph beaches during our stay. All were beautiful and not too far away. Overall great trip!

Enjoyed our time there. Cottage is small, as stated, but plenty of room. We found it quite comfortable for the two of us. Plenty of extras…kayaks, bikes, etc. Mark was very helpful and informative. We booked a week in advance, just a ‘spur of the moment’ decision for a short R&R trip. Everything went smoothly.

This was a clean little place to stay. The bells and whistles for this place are in the location and access to the various pieces of outdoor equipment. For those who are looking for a place to rest after spending the day at the beach, this is for you.

Arrival and check in was easy. The property has excellent proximity to the beach. It was small but that was described and was fine with us. My only issue was that there were a lot of cobwebs and spiders that I removed after we arrived. Also, some of the kitchen items (the Keurig water reservoir, silverware, dishes) were dirty. It wasn’t enough that we wouldn’t stay again or disliked the property but a few small issues.

Tight quarters but a really fun spot, and right on the beach!
