Beachfront South Seas 2 Port Elliot w/ views of Knights Beach

We loved our stay here. The view of the beach and the sound of the waves was very relaxing. We loved the walking paths and the easy walk into town. We would highly recommend it. Comfy bed, super comfy couch to relax on. Everything you need in the kitchen. Thanks for a great stay.

A few years ago this would have been an excellent property but now appears in need of attention. In reviews the sticky table was noted years ago it is still the same . The television had a faulty remote also noted in April reviews . It was promptly replaced from another unit but still the television controls took ages to activate the tv . The bedding although clean was somewhat grey and not inviting. Lastly the excellent view was marred by dirty windows . The owner was always attentive and there were many things we appreciated such as the welcoming gift but sadly remote control of the property is difficult ie relying on cleaners . We were there for 9nights but no clean bedding was provided after a week which is normal for such accommodation. There is a need to declutter the property of the old cushions and throw rugs .

Really lovely spot. Very comfortable

This site currently has a pleasant host that has made every effort to present the property well. It was welcoming on arrival, clean and well appointed. The views are exceptional but best from the upstairs bedroom.

We very much enjoyed our five night stay at this well located, clean and comfortable accommodation! The views of the ocean were indeed stunning, particularly from the principal bedroom where one can sit to enjoy morning coffee either inside or on the balcony. The unit is directly across from access to the waterfront walking trail, and it is a short walk in the other direction into the picturesque town to the small grocery store, a good butcher and a couple of bakeries and restaurants.The space is functional with a decently equipped kitchen and a BBQ in the private back patio (where there is also lots of space to hang laundry). There is good storage space in the principal bedroom and a good sized walk-in shower in the adjacent bathroom. We can definitely recommend this as a good base for a couple or small family in charming Port Elliot.

Location, view and sounds of the ocean were fantastic and awesome. Close to the main street. Short walk to horseshoe bay, with knight's beach across the road.Generally very happy with the accommodation. Minor improvements could be supply bath mat and hand towel. More towels would of been useful as well.Windows were dirty, particularly main front window from lounge was dirty. Spoiling the view. My partner cleaned it himself so we could see through it and take in the amazing view. Dining table in poor condition. Table was extremely sticky (not due to lack of cleaning but dated / tacky varnish).Overall very satisfied, just minor details as mentioned above. Lovely welcome gift on arrival. Solid communication from host. Would book again.

Very clean, well presented property with lovely views of the coastline. Every thing worked as it should - from the kitchen appliances to the other amenities and care had been taken to ensure light, airy and comfortable spaces.

The location and view stood out, especially from the upstairs master bedroom. As the weather wasn't great we spent a lot of time sitting in the cosy corner chairs provided, reading and looking out at the gorgeous view of the water.

The views are stunning. Only criticism is no tea towels, no face washers, sheets were not ironed this made it feel like you were getting into a dirty bed. Place not ready for our booking however host sorted the problem promptly and gave us a beautiful bottle of champagne. She was very apologetic. Everything else was great. We would return.

A lovely place to stay

Beautiful sea views with scenic walking paths metres from your front door. The apartment is welcoming, clean and comfortable, all you need for a relaxing stay is provided and more. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are comfortable. Absolutely loved our stay, already planning our next one.

hi stayed for a short break, the place is perfect... simple furnishings, but all you need. The view is superb, and walks to barrage, or the main wharf are great. We would love to stay again if the opportunity arose, Clyde & Tricia and another couple (all 60)

Well appointed with kitchen, barbecue etc. Comfy couches, rugs and cushions to relax in. Fabulous location for ocean views and glorious sunsets. Close walk to active beach walking and surfing. Walking to great cafes.

Lovely small apartment …sea view is beautiful and bonus walking distance to shops and restaurants

Very clean and homely. Overall great experience and amazing views. This has potential to be luxurious with a new rainhead for the shower and new locks on the doors (some difficult to lock) and one way glass for the front windows.

Everything about our stay was lovely. Location was perfect with parking available, but also a quick walk to town or beach. The view was stunning and the bedroom and bathroom upstairs was perfect.Thank you for having us, we will be back

Perfect location, well set up. Good communication with host.

We had a few issues with some things not working or just not there. No toiletries, no stereo or dvd for example.The bed was comfy, the place was clean, could do with a bit of maintenance, and the missing stuff wasn't really too much of a problem. We had our own toiletries and who watches telly with a view like that?

A view to die for. Apartment had everything needed for a hassle free time. Very comfortable beds. Overall very clean. Could do with an outdoor tap to wash off sand. Loved lying in bed listening to the thunderous waves crashing on the rocks below. Would have no hesitation to return.

Great position, view amazing

We had a lovely stay, will definitely go again in the future. Perfect spot for whale watching, we saw dolphins! The welcome gift by the host was a nice touch.

Fantastic location and lovely host. We very much enjoyed our time, and look forward to staying again. Was a wet and windy weekend, and my favourite part was sitting at the upstairs corner window with a coffee watching the waves crash against the rocks. Lovely and warm the whole time.

Location and facilities all good. Small things like light in main bedroom not working, kitchen items like paper towels and in the bathroom, no shampoo etc as usually supplied.

Great affordable apartment in a fabulous location.

For a winter getaway our Stayz accomodation was fabulous. And is probably just as good any time of year. The accomodation was two storey townhouse style with modern appointments. Both levels were heated which was a bonus given the middle of winter. The sound of waves crashing against the rocks at Knight’s Beach was amazing and strangely soothing late at night. The walks around the coast were spectacular. We have travelled extensively overseas. I would thoroughly recommend a holiday at home at Port Elliot. We have some real pearls in our own backyard.

The location was great - right on the corner, overlooking the wild, winter seas of Knight's Beach. Although we visited in winter, we could still hear the waves crashing on the rocks below, lulling us to sleep at night. The accommodation was very comfortable, warm and very clean. It was equipped with everything we might need, including a lovely, gift hamper of nuts and a piccolo of champagne. We enjoyed our stay, we blew away some cobwebs on showery, beach walks and would like to visit again, if available. Thank you!
