Beachfront paradise!

This reservation was perfect for our family. The hosts are very clear on the property’s condition and it’s a fair assessment but no words can describe the incredible view!!! Rain or shine we strolled the beach and enjoyed a nice drink watching the water and sky change beautifully! Host was easy to communicate with and accommodating. We would definitely come back!

Loved our stay here! So picturesque and serene … like being on a stationary cruise ship in an extra large suite. Comfortable beds and relaxed vibe - exactly what we needed.

The property is unique. It is a cozy beachfront retreat. Perfect location for the Ironman event at Elk/Beaver Lake. Hosts were very clear with instructions/great communication and accurate description of the property. We loved our stay!! Well equipped and loved sitting in the sunroom sipping our coffee in the morning gazing out at the ocean and listening to the waves. Easy street parking too.

We loved our stay on the beach front, the view of the ocean and sky is amazing. Very nice to walk along the beach. Eric was very helpful with any questions we had. Wonderful stay!

Nice view and clean house! We enjoyed our stay

While we enjoyed the ocean view and the host was very nice and helpful we found the accommodations were not great. The beds are dated and uncomfortable. The pull out couch needs replacing in the worst way. Not worth the money. There are nicer ocean view homes for the price we paid. They also did not tell us that there were tenants below and above.

A great property with a beautiful view. Nice and clean and exactly as described in the listing. We enjoyed the beach with our family and sightseeing in Victoria. Would stay again.

Eric was a wonderful host and very accommodating. He went above and beyond and helped return my daughter’s tablet that we accidentally left there. Thank you, Eric for being such a great host and so helpful! We had a wonderful stay.

The Ocean Suite is lovely. Lots of light, beautiful panoramic view, everything as described. A great launch point for trips into Victoria, and far enough from the city to feel like a getaway/beach vacation. Parking was easily available on the street, heat pumps in the unit for cooling were a plus, because we had nothing but sunny days to enjoy while we were here. Good communication with the hosts, we would be happy to come back again.

Was a super cute, retro style home right on the beach. We did not realize there would be people staying on the levels above and below us. It was probably in the write up and I missed it. It was no problem, however, as we didn’t hear from either level at all. Was great to hear and see the ocean constantly. You will have to drive a few miles to restaurants and grocery stores but well worth it for the location. The property manager was in contact prior and available if needed.

I think the title summed it up. This is not a swank, polished property with pristine furnishings and modernist decoration. It's more low key, comfortable, with mismatched coffee cups and floors that squeak. In other words, just the way I like it. And every time you turn a corner, the gobsmacking view of Cordova Bay stops you in your tracks, so much so that you forget what you were trying to do.

Mini get-away treat for our 96 year old Mother. Lovely property that allowed her to enjoy expansive views of the Haro Strait while lounging on the couch or in the sun room. Convenient location for jaunts to Victoria, Butchart Gardens and beach drives. Easy access to the beach. s

Property is well located for all the activities. Wonderful view of beach and sounds of the waves. Completely enjoyed out stay.

Check in and checkout was a breeze. Eric was highly responsive and very generous letting us borrow the paddle boards for a little trip out to the island with the seals in front of the property. This is a great central location, close to airport and many other attractions that the island has to offer. Last but not least, the sunrise view over the ocean is absolutely breathtaking!

It was wonderful. You really cannot beat the view. We spent a lot of time in the sun room starting at the ocean. We loved that the house felt like home but away from home. Enough room for 4 adults and 2 teenagers. Easy access to beach. Erik was wonderful about communicating with me. The grocery store (Red Barn) had everything we needed for the time we were there. The extra air mattress and hide abed was greatly appreciated. We could use the smart TV to watch Netflix. We loved that they had all the kitchen cabinets full of what you need to use to cook with and eat on. Did some laundry with the detergent provided. Easy loading dishwasher. Everything was perfect! 10/10

We had a lovely time at the Beachfront property. The house was comfortable and clean. The location was ideal with beach at our doorstep. We enjoyed our time at the house.

We had a wonderful time in Victoria and the house was in an amazing location. Our view was spectacular and you can’t beat having the ocean and beach out your back door.

A great location - perfect to get around to different parts of Victoria and Sydney. Very easy in/out and check in and comfortable beds. Oh, did I mention the totally awesome view out the back? Wow. Beachfront, water and view of San Juan Islands and others. Really a wonderful spot to wake up. Glad we picked it!
