- This property is a ground-floor unit. The home has a back patio, no balcony or balcony access.
- Please note that this home does not have AC
- This home does not have a washer & dryer.
- Any amplified sound that can be heard 50 feet away from your residence is prohibited. This home has a noise ordinance time between 10 PM and 8 AM, meaning even a normal conversation must be moved to inside the home during these hours.
- Please note the unit is surrounded by other units in a shared building and we would appreciate being mindful to the volume of the activities that may occur.
- There is a pull-out couch in the living area for additional sleeping arrangements.
- Please note our occupancy includes an additional two beyond bed count. Trifold floor mattresses and additional linens can be provided upon request.
- This home is located in a neighborhood with a strict noise ordinance policy and therefore is only suitable for quieter groups. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting this home, otherwise, if violations occur you may be subject to a fine that can reach up to $10,000.
- Bookings must be made at least 24 hours before check-in. Same-day bookings are not permitted.
- Absolutely no exterior amplified music is allowed. Violations will result in a $500 fine.
- While we do our best to notify guests in advance, unannounced power outages may occur due to unexpected city maintenance.
- No events are allowed unless pre-approved and coordinated through Avantstay. This includes but is not limited to: rehearsal dinners, wedding receptions, birthday parties, and social gatherings.
- All guests must comply with local laws regarding outdoor lighting, quiet hours, and limitations on parties or gatherings.

Parking Details:
There is space for one car onsite.
Please note that the parking space is only suitable for small vehicles.
Please be aware that street parking is extremely limited, therefore this home would be best suited for those that only have 1 vehicle/rideshare.
Parking spots are ideal for compact cars. SUVs may have a lot of difficulty getting in and out; while larger vehicles will not fit at all and are at risk of fines & towing if past a certain point in the alleyway.

This home comes with a pack n' play travel crib and a high chair available.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

    Perfect location. Close to all sorts of great places, even Little Italy (short drive). Communication from check in to check out was wonderful. The app was easy to use, and though we didn’t take advantage this time, there are all kinds of services to make our stay comfortable and easy.

    We were celebrating our son’s graduation from UCSD. It was an ideal place for him to come over and take a break from studying and get a bite to eat. The view was amazing and the neighbors were very friendly. The location was convenient to walk for breakfast to Olive Café and other fun spots too.

    We had our two grandchildren staying with us for the weekend and were looking for a place with direct access to the beach. We found it here. We could join them in the water or just sit on the patio and watch them having fun with the sand toys provided. We also enjoyed the indoor board games. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and we appreciated the coffee on hand. Our car was a tight fit for the parking space so we moved to the nearby lot .. an easy walk away. Check-in was easy and directions were clear. We enjoyed our stay!

    You can't beat this location. There are so many places to go that are within walking distance - restaurants, coffee shops, Belmont Park. There were beach toys available for our 2 year old, as well as beach chairs for us adults. Property management was quick to respond to any issues.

    Great property manager Jocelyn!! She made a really big difference in our stay and it was much appreciated! During our stay everything was fine except the uncomfortable sofabed springs in the living room and the lack of cleanliness of the unit. The ceiling fan in the living room and all light switches had major crud. The walls had wipeable stains, the rubber bathtub stopper was rusted, and although I indicated in advance we would be using the sofabed there was no bedding for it.

    Pros: Great location, nice patio overlooking the bay, quiet, bed was comfy Cons: AvantStay interaction was basically them trying to upsell for things like a private chef, never responded to request for earlier check in (instead of 4pm), place looks like it hasn t been remodeled in 30 years, anything that has been fixed or replaced was done as cheap as possible, no AC but that was in the listing so no surprise. It wouldn't take much to improve the overall experience. Replace some cheap tattered doors and blinds. Provide a Keurig instead of the cheapest big box store coffee packets. Fix the wobbly nightstands and lamps. Overall it just feels like maximizing profits while minimizing expenditures. They did provide 2 free bags of chips so there was that.

    The property was very nice and being on the bayside was quiet while still having quick and easy access to the ocean. I would come back to this property again and again. The only one drawback was the parking which is very tight another visitor opened their car door and dented our car needed at least another 4 inches to get out of the car.

    This location is spectacular!! ...and thats why youre staying here. This is an older unit..so dont expect perfection...but we will certainly book again...a small note...it would have been nice to have kitchen towels...we had to use the bathroom hand towels for the kitchen...and maybe a box of kleenex in the bathroom..the bed us amazingly comfortable@
