Bamboo Loft 6BR: Sleeps 24 in Downtown SAN

This property was amazing for a bachelor party of 16 guys, accommodating everyone to have their own bed! The hangout area was spacious and perfect for all of us to relax and watch the hockey games on the MASSIVE tv in the living room. The upstairs bedroom above the living room could be a bit loud if others are in the kitchen/living room, but it wasn’t an inconvenience for our group. The location is not the most ideal area of San Diego, so it works for bachelor parties, but I would advise against families or bachelorette parties. Overall though we had an excellent experience with Josh as the host, as he was very accommodating, very timely with communication and the place was better than advertised!

We used this space so that we could all stay together for a conference at the SD convention center. It's located closeby, and has awesome common space for relaxing. kitchen is very well equipped. It was a little too cold to use the outdoors, but when it's warm enough it would be really cool to have this space. The bedrooms are interesting. If you're a light sleeper, skip the downstairs bedrooms as they're close to the kitchen. All in all it worked well for us. I'd possibly recommend having a window in the master bedroom instead of hte open space to the common area just to help with noise reduction and create more privacy. All in all it was perfect for what we needed, funky and cool, and close to where we needed to be. Thanks Josh!

We had 16 family members coming from all parts of the US. Location was close to the airport with central driving access to downtown, shopping centers, beaches and restaurants. The Bamboo Loft was very spacious and the amenities (great room, full kitchen, smart TV, bedrooms, shuffle board, darts, foosball, and cornhole) kept us all entertained throughout our 5 day stay.Staff made check-in easy and seamless and was very accessible leading up to our stay and throughout. We very much enjoyed our stay and would consider rebooking in the future with Good Life Resorts.

My friends and I stayed for the 4th of July. The space is incredible just as it looks in the photos. I highly recommend staying here.

This was a great property to stay at with a large group! The area isn’t right downtown or anything but it was a quick drive and the information about the area was disclosed in the listing. We were all women but from larger cities so we just used common sense and traveled in groups. It was big enough that with 15 people everyone was still able to have their own bed (not room) which is what we were trying to accomplish. We had no issues with any of the house and all the extras like coffee were great! There was even more room than we expected because there were additional sitting rooms outside we didn’t notice/see. I wish there was a little more information given out upon/after check in as I did have to repeatedly message asking things like what is the code for the garage door, how do we use the sound system etc and I feel it would’ve been a lot easier for myself and the owner if it was all on a sheet received at check in. Maybe I somehow missed it but I looked over the info website multiple times trying to figure things out and couldn’t without messaging to ask. Additionally when we arrived the music was blasting throughout the house, which I was told by someone from the area is a safety measure when no one is in the house maybe(?), but it was very very loud and since we didn’t know how to operate the system at first we just had to sit with it until we heard back. They were responsive though and answered all the questions I asked!

Great place for a bachelor party! Baggo, darts, foozball, and shuffle board were great. Have your cabs drive you down the alley for easiest access.

We stayed here over our wedding weekend and the house was everything we could have imagined! We had plenty of space and beds for everyone. The kitchen is spacious and the music system bumps. Josh was incredibly communicative and helpful during the entire stay. Would 100% stay here again or recommend to a friend!

Overall our stay was great. The property is exactly as pictured and t he neighborhood is urban/rough as stated by the owners and other reviewers. We will stay here again next year if it is available.
