- We allow service animals at this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- ​​​​​​​Due to safety risks, no child under the age of 13 may operate the elevator without adult supervision. Adults should secure children while entering, riding, and exiting the elevator.
- We no longer have bikes available at this property.
- This property is a part of a shared building with a unit above.
- Please note our occupancy includes an additional two beyond bed count. Trifold floor mattresses and additional linens can be provided upon request.
- This home is located in a neighborhood with a strict noise ordinance policy and therefore is only suitable for quieter groups. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting this home, otherwise, if violations occur you may be subject to a fine that can reach up to $10,000.
- Bookings must be made at least 24 hours before check-in. Same-day bookings are not permitted.
- Absolutely no exterior amplified music is allowed. Violations will result in a $500 fine.
- While we do our best to notify guests in advance, unannounced power outages may occur due to unexpected city maintenance.
- No events are allowed unless pre-approved and coordinated through Avantstay. This includes but is not limited to: rehearsal dinners, wedding receptions, birthday parties, and social gatherings.
- All guests must comply with local laws regarding outdoor lighting, quiet hours, and limitations on parties or gatherings.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

    Excellent place to stay with a big group. Close to MCRD if you need to attend Marine graduation. Balboa Park is a must if you like history and culture. Thanks to the property host. Definitely will return and recommend.

    The property is very well located but its old and requires maintenance. First day we arrive and there was no hot water, however, the property manager fixed very quickly. During the last day of our stay, we had some kind of leak from the floor above and in the middle of the night it started dripping above the bed. The answer from the property manager was put a towel and tomorrow that you’re gone will fix it. My most important note is that the rooms lack proper blinds and 2 of the have skylights so if you are sensible to light there is no way of resting as you have light entering the room all night. Also, the front of the apartment lacks blinds and since your are in front of the street, you have little privacy. Also, the property has a parking space but you are not allowed to use it so you have to look in the street and sometimes its not available close by. I went on peak season but felt the property was overpriced.

    We picked this place because of the combo of 2 king beds and price. There were twin bunk beds and trundles so all the kids slept comfortably. It was cutely decorated and had plenty of towels provided. The only issue was there was no designated parking and it wasn’t easy to find street parking until late at night.

    We had a group of 10 people staying at this place and we had no issues. Plenty of space to sleep and hangout. Kitchen had all the necessities if you were planning on cooking. Location is also close to many great restaurants and attractions. Thing only thing was that originally we had planned for 12 people (listing is advertised for 12) but ended up having 10 and we had taken up all the beds with 10 so we got lucky. If you're okay with having three people on a bed then you can do 12. But overall good experience.

    6 of us stayed in this rental for two nights on a weekend getaway to San Diego from LA. The location was great with plenty of street parking. The rental felt much bigger than it even looked in pictures. Ubers were only about 10 dollars in every direction for where we needed to go all weekend. Recommend this place and would totally stay here again!

    We had a great experience with the property. The unit was very clean and well stocked. The location, so close to the park was great. We walked to the zoo and museums, everywhere else in the area we wanted to visit was about a 10 min drive. Don’t worry about street parking, there were always spaces very close by. AvantStay was so helpful! Highly recommend

    I will first say that the property and location is amazing. It was very clean and modern and more than what we expected. There was a minor issue with a little water leak in the master but the owner and Property Management team were very responsive and took care of us. The overall experience was over the top and will plan to stay here again.
