This was a beautiful apartment in a great location! The hosts were wonderful and we had a fantastic stay.

We had a wonderful vacation. The property was perfect for 2 couples and in the perfect location. Communication was excellent. Property was spotless. Will definitely look to book again on our next trip to the peninsula.

The location and amenities are spectacular. Richard and Jane are friendly accommodating, and responsive hosts. We truly enjoyed staying at their wonderful home. It is comfortable and inviting. The views are spectacular. and watching the ocean waves and seals on the beach with a cup of coffee in the morning or a cocktail at night with a fire pit to keep you warm is very relaxing. We cannot wait to book our next visit here.

Wow, what a find, right on the ocean. Very well appointed and had everything you need, like at home! Owner lives upstairs and was very helpful with checkin and details about the property. We will stay again here when visiting the area. Oh, the Monterey Aquarium is within walking distance.

Fantastic location and very beautiful views. Walking path to lovers point right outside the front door. Outdoor fire pit was fantastic and we used it every night. Host were fantastic and very accommodating.

A beautiful home with a great view over the Monterey bay. You can easily walk to many shops, restaurants, and natural sites. It is cozy with a couple of fireplaces and a well stocked kitchen.

Beautiful home! Plenty of room for 4 adults. We used the outdoor gas fire pit everyday! The property manager reached out to provide restaurant suggestions and site-seeing information, and to make sure all our needs were meant. We hope to stay here again! Excellent!

This is our second time to stay in this lovely home. You will not be disappointed ! Jane and her husband wonderful hosts who went above and beyond the call of duty when I lost a piece of jewelry deep beneath a crevice in floorboard. It was quite an undertaking to retrieve it for which I’m very thankful!

What a beautiful property and location! Our family enjoyed the views, walks, and s'mores on the patio. Jane was a kind host and even texted us immediately when we left an item behind. Thanks for the wonderful stay.

This home is beautiful and relaxing and we had a wonderful time on the patio by the fire watching the otters every evening. The house is walkable to the aquarium and the heart of Monterrey. Jane is an amazing host and very helpful and responsive. The pictures are exactly as described and we will definitely stay here again when in the area.

We loved our stay here! The house is beautiful, clean, cozy, and comfortable. You can take in the views of the bay from the comfort of the living room or step out onto the front porch, light the fire pit, and take in otters, seals, and if you’re lucky some whales. The location was great for exploring the area on foot or a short drive to iconic scenery like The Lone Cypress at Pebble Beach. The property owners/managers are extremely friendly and made us feel right at home.

We loved this house! Great views of the bay and wildlife-otters and seals everyday plus birds and whales! The house was so clean and very quiet-the best sleep of our vacation! Jane was extremely helpful and flexible. Their home is an 8 minute walk to restaurants or the aquarium. Neighborhood is very quiet and parking is easy! We’d definitely stay again!

Came for the weekend to celebrate my husbands birthday. Jane and her lovely home made our weekend so lovely. Everything was wonderful! Would stay again!!!

Really great location in easy walking distance of Monterrey Aquarium and many excellent restaurants. Magnificent view right out the front windows. The house is beautiful and everything worked as advertised. Especially enjoyed the outdoor firepit which made sitting outdoors in the evening warm and pleasant.

Gorgeous property with beautiful ocean views.

Terrific! We have visited Monterey several times over the past few years as our daughter is at school in the bay area. This is the best place we stayed. It is a very comfortable layout with two nice bedrooms, each with its own full bathroom. Nice kitchen, comfortable living area. But the best thing is location. The patio area looks right out at Monterey Bay and the fire pit there was warm and made it so inviting to sit out in the evenings and listen tot he sounds of the bay. The indoor fireplace was also great. A super nice place to stay for a small family or two couples. We'll stay again!

Excellent in every respect

All categories receive a 10/10 from us. The property, the check-in and -out process, and the property manager –– all delightful. The location was perfect for our family as we only drove our car once in 3 days. Had a great view the entire stay and the outdoor fire pit is a really nice touch. Morning coffee just won't be the same. Highly recommend!

This is one of the best properties that we've ever booked. It was clean, well-maintained, and in a beautiful location across the street from the ocean. The owners were responsive, courteous and helpful. We wished we could have stayed longer!

This home is just beautiful and in a perfect location to enjoy whale watching and just relaxing all day in the front patio. The property was clean, comfortable and had everything we need to make it a perfect vacation. We really enjoyed just sitting in the front patio with the firepit on. The host was very accommodating. I would heigh recommended this property.

Beautiful view in a well stocked property in outstanding location. Hosts live in upstairs part of the duplex and were extremely welcoming and responsive. A lovely stay.

We've stayed in this area numerous times, and this property is VERY special. We watched whales right from our beautiful terrace and enjoyed the short walk to Lover's Point. The property was beyond clean and the owner left lovely gift basket on our arrival (not to mention extra binoculars for whale watching). We hope to return again to this little slice of heaven.

All the reviews are very accurate. Lovely place, great location and Jane responds quickly to any question. Also, very helpful if she sees whales from the house! Only regret is not staying at the house more. We were running around a lot on this trip.

We loved our stay, which was perfect for our family. Plenty to explore in walking distance and we really enjoyed sitting on the porch by the fire.

Very nice property in terrific location. Roomy and comfortable. Kitchen was nicely stocked with coffee, teas, seasonings, oils, etc.--which I always think is a very thoughtful touch (though we chose to eat out at the many great restaurants nearby). Especially enjoyed the fireplace & comfy sofas & blankets on a cool night. Bedrooms each have full bath and are in separate wings which adds privacy. Was great to sit out on the patio overlooking lovely Monterey Bay. Host is very friendly and accommodating and communication was a breeze. Can't wait to return. Highly recommend.
