Avenue Side Room at The Copper Trout.

Great room for our short stay. It was clean, quiet, and within walking distance to all local attractions. The only downside is the parking area was not big enough. The other people staying in the other room took up most of the parking area and there was no room for our vehicle so we had to park on the street.

Owner very easy to communicate with, answering questions very promptly.

Quiet and away from all the foot traffic, but still walkable (5 min) to restaurants and the dock.

Narrow steep stairs. Difficult lock box. Decor not very nice. Bedding and pillows could be better.

Everything was fine except that you couldn’t open a window to breathe the Great Lake Superior air at night.

Location was great for enjoying Bayfield and the Apostle Islands. Has a great restaurant too!

The bed was way too firm for me other than that its a wonderful place to go....

The room etc. was nice/adequate but way overpriced for what it was. I had never stayed at a vrbo before and never used this entree/code system before so was confused at first but figured it out. Location was great though.

Close to village. Very clean. Steep narrow stairs to room. Room looks was ample size, clean. This is a simple room not a B & B.

Excellent location and off street parking (most streets don’t allow overnight parking). Easy check in, very clean and quiet. Only minimal inconvenience was the mini fridge was not working in the closet, so I was unable to keep my leftovers and groceries cold. Would recommended and stay here again!

Room was clean and very close to downtown Bayfield. Perfect for what we were looking for. Only complaint would be that the bed is hard and we prefer a softer mattress. Manager was very accommodating. We would stay again.

We stayed here for the Apple Festival. Check in was simple and the host was very responsive and kind when we had questions. The location was unbeatable. We walked right out the door and onto the street where the festivities took place. Reserved parking was a big plus! I was worried about having a room next door to others, but it wasn’t an issue at all. The hosts have a great set up. Very hotel-like. I would absolutely stay here again.

This was a comfy and convenient to everything stay. The room was awesome, bed was comfy and the porch … I miss it. Highly recommend.

This was an amazing location, room and host. Mike took very good care of us. The rooms were clean, well appointed and perfect for our needs. And Bayfield certainly did NOT disappoint! I highly recommend Mike and his property!

The room was just as shown in pictures and perfect for the 2 of us. Loved the location just down the street from the shops, grocery store and the ferry. Will definitely stay here again! Craig & Rhonda

Room was clean and everything was set up nice for just an overnight stay.

Perfect spot, close to all that Bayfield has to offer. Clean and equipped with coffee maker and refrigerator, shower was beautiful.

This was one of the few places that offered single night rentals and it was clean and nice, and the process was easy. The bed is really hard though and I did not sleep well.

Looked just like the pictures on the listing and was actually larger than I imagined. We will definitely be coming back!
