We will miss the large oversized terraces. The place is large and very well equipped. AC works extremely well. Wifi signal was very weak and devices disconnected frequently but internet speed was ok (after first day at least) and we were able to get everything we needed from internet. Hosts are very friendly but not a single word of English and VRBO doesn't auto-translate. VRBO was also glitchy for days (no fault of hosts) not allowing me to message hosts, making arranging for check in very stressful. With all that said, the apartment is awesome and we loved our stay and would happily stay there again.

This place was our favorite during our trip to Sicily. It was the perfect base to hop in the car and drive to San Vito do Capo, Enrice, Scopello and the rest of the West coast. Castellammare del Golfo has one of the best beaches, without too much tourism. Cute harbour and nice restaurants. The apartment was perfectly clean, has big terraces, nice view, good beds and bathroom and actually everything you need for a peaceful stay. It was big enough for 6 people at least and very tastefully designed. The owners are sweet and helpful.

This apartment was the best we have stayed in our 4months of travelling through Italy,and we have stayed in high standard apartments. This appartment is spotless and a credit to the owners.No traffic noise at all.The veiws and surroundings, were beautiful with two rugged mountains as a backdrop and two huge balconies and one small one to laze on.The kitchen was fitted with the best of everything like the whole unit.We were on the top floor called Iris and treat yourself if you are in the area it is so spacious. They picked us up and dropped us off without asking.The owners are genuine and very very nice people. Within walking distance there are many bars and supermakets to choose from. Check the location to see if it suits as we found it conveniently placed.

Our apartment was very clean; all the appliances, etc. worked properly; the owners, Vicenzo & Gusippina, were exceptionally nice. The kitchen was well equipped. The only thing of disappointment was that we did not have the advertised WIFI/internet access

We've rented in Europe at least 12 times over the years and this apartment is one of our top two. It is modern, extra clean with magnificent views of the mountains and sea. The balcony off the kitchen was our living room. It is located in a light industrial area with machinery noises during business hours. It is also near the entrance to the autostrada allowing easy access out of town to the tourist sites. We hoped to meet Salvatore; however, he was at university. Senora P., his mother, who lives on the first floor was our hostess. She is a gracious, charming and beautiful person who even baked some goodies for us. Improvements: The advert claimed the apartment had WiFi. It did but the signal was very weak and intermittent. We use a computer heavily and WiFi is an absolute requirement for us. Also kitchen cooking equipment is dated and minimally adequate. An omelet or fry pan and several smaller pots are needed as well as baking dishes. A tea kettle would also be an improvement. We cooked most nights eating the wonderful fresh fish from the harbor. Sicily is a beautiful island, the people are wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Nice new very clean attic-appartment with very friendly owners at the outskirts of the town close to the way to the motorway.

The apartment was exceptionally perfect in all details, confortable with three balconies with good sea and mountain views,beautiful local sandy beach and in the evening a lovely yacht marina close by. If travelling by car, this is a homely place, and Salvatore and his mum are the perfect hosts. We will surely go back again next year,and take our friends or family with us.
