Stayed Jul 6, 2025This property was very clean, and comfortable. The host was very responsive to any questions. We had no issues and would choose to stay here again. The coffee and basket of snacks was a wonderful surprise! I give this a 5 star rating.

Stayed May 12, 2025It was great! It was just what we needed. For our trip exploring DC, it gave us everything we needed because it was just a short walk from multiple bus stops, and the included parking meant we did not have to worry about where to leave our car. Everything was clean, tidy, and seemed to be newly renovated. It felt safe and had all the essentials of living on hand as well. The bed was very comfortable for us both, and we slept well.We would change the listing a bit to highlight the difficulty of access, though. Although attic suggests stairs, these stairs are particularly numerous, steep, and very narrow. Anyone with a significant mobility issue or older guests would have a lot of trouble. We are both young and strong, and we had some trouble carrying our stuff up the narrow stairways. If you are okay with narrow stairs, it is a great place to be. The host is super responsive and helped us out with an issue we had at almost 10:00pm.

Stayed May 6, 2025Our stay at LaKesha's was great. Very comfortable and it had everything that we needed. I wish that the steep stairs had better lighting and the parking was a little more spacious but other than that the place was perfect for us.The floors were squeeky so I'm sorry to the people below us if it bothered them. No bother to us. Too bad we didn't have a dog because there was a great back yard.Would definitely come back.

Stayed Oct 20, 2024We loved staying here! ❤️ It was clean, tastefully decorated, and very comfortable. It was a wonderful space to come home to, though the stairs occasionally felt a bit daunting after a long day of walking through museums and up and down The Mall. ? The apartment had everything we needed and several thoughtful extras. It's a short drive from the apartment to multiple metro stations and it's a short metro ride into The Mall. LaKeisha was a wonderful host. She was very friendly, responsive to messages, and concerned for our comfort. We would stay with her again without a second thought.

Stayed Oct 3, 2024We had the opportunity to stay in Keshia's sweet accommodation for 13 nights. It was a wonderful retreat. The small apartment is exactly as described and has everything you need. Since we spent all of our time in D.C., we didn't rent a car, but took public transport. There are three bus stops within walking distance. The Metro SmartTrip app is very useful for this and serves as a bus ticket. It can be recharged again and again. Since the house is on the outskirts of D.C., it takes an average of 45 to 60 minutes to get to the center with changes. But we didn't mind, as it meant we came into contact with the locals and always saw something new. Even though the apartment is on a busy street, the neighborhood is very quiet and safe. If you're a sensitive sleeper, you might want to think about earplugs until you get used to it. Keshia herself is the best host. She was always there, answered all our questions immediately and gave us a wonderful time. We especially liked the fact that coffee and small snacks were available free of charge when we arrived. By the way, if you want to do large food shopping, there are no options within walking distance. You have to take the bus or order an Uber. If you arrive by car, you have the option of parking behind the house, which of course makes everything much more convenient. We really enjoyed staying in Keshia's house and can recommend it wholeheartedly. After long days and lots of walking we always enjoyed returning to our cozy home.

Stayed Apr 11, 2024The Attic Haven was exactly what we were looking for and exactly what was advertised. Adorable and clean, with easy access to downtown and the Universities. Having a parking spot was key! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
