This was our third and final stop in Italy, 5 nights in Rome. Check in was easy enough, the host had to be contacted for check in information. The host provided codes for the doors and how to locate the key but did not meet us at the property. Upon entering the property was extremely hot and the air conditioning was turned off. This property the AC is powered on by turning a key, that key is padlocked to the door key so there is no way to leave the AC on while you are not in the property unless you leave the door unlocked. When we arrived the temperature in the property was around 90 Fahrenheit and in 3 hours had only cooled to 85 Fahrenheit. The floors were dirty, my wife’s feet were black from the dirt within 10 minutes of walking on them. Dust and food crumbs were found by one of the sofas and there was trash left in a bag either from the host or previous guests. I contacted Vrbo and they tried to reach out to the host with no luck. I had messaged earlier and did not get a reply until the next morning. The host basically told me the property was clean and did not offer in any way to take care of the situation or compensate us in any way. We left the property after three and a half hours and went to a hotel. This was a huge expense for us but we did what we had to do to salvage our vacation.

We were here with colleagues and needed to get to a conference at Sapienza University and to the Roma Convention center. This apartment was great to be in a central location to get everywhere by train and bus. All the amenities were comfortable snd wonderful! Dining suggestions were excellent, and we had jazz music downstairs several nights that was lovely.

This apartment is charming and full of original art work. It's also very spacious and surprisingly quiet for a central location. The location is great - you're directly above a metro station and just a short walk from the Colosseum, Forum and other Roman sites as well as the Termini station. It's in a lively area with lots of restaurants but doesn't feel quite as touristy as some other parts of Rome. We found this a great base for exploring Rome with our kids (aged 6 & 9).

We were very happy with our quiet and cool stay in the heart of Rome. Our family was comfortable with quiet rooms, fully air conditioned, a great kitchen and easy walkable distance to the Colosseum. We loved the bakery around the corner for anytime meals and snacks. Valentina was attentive and always able to communicate clearly about restaurants, grocery stores. She went over and above to help us when our flight was delayed. We would happily recommend this beautiful apartment.

Apartment was clean, spacious, and extremely quiet - couldn't hear the noise from street level. Location seconds away from subway line made access to the whole city easy. A wonderful stay overall.
