New and spacious

We really enjoyed our stay in Athens! The place was lovely—clean, cozy, and stocked with all the essentials—and the hosts were incredibly kind and responsive. They even removed a diffuser at my request due to scent sensitivity, which was so thoughtful and appreciated. Just a heads-up for light sleepers: one of the bedrooms faces a street and the other backs up to a parking lot, so some street noise is to be expected. A white noise machine or earplugs might help if you’re sensitive. I also felt a bit uneasy in the evenings, but the host was quick to respond and mentioned plans to install a security camera, which should help future guests feel more at ease. Overall, it was a great stay with attentive hosts and a comfortable space!

The property was AMAZING!!! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cute cozy, cute home away from home. Everything was just perfect for the moment that you walked through the doors. It looks JUST like the photos. You would not be disappointed. When you open, it will definitely put a smile on your face. The Artist Retreat was the perfect spot for us during our visit to Athens! It is a beautifully decorated, sparkling clean home that is conveniently located near UGA and downtown Athens. Great communication by the host and easy check-in.

Clean and comfortable

We enjoyed our stay tremendously. The property was extremely clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. It provided everything we needed for a comfortable week while my daughter attended an internship at UGA. The location was also perfect, with everything we needed less than 10 minutes away.Many thanks to Meredith and Alex for being such friendly, kind, and responsive hosts. We were truly sad to leave and cannot recommend this property highly enough.

This property was picture perfect… Super clean and just what we needed after a few long days of traveling and college tours! The hosts were very helpful and responded to all communication quickly! We would definitely stay again!!

Lovely property that is beautifully decorated and thoughtfully equipped. I loved the art! Location is convenient to great walking sites, grocery stores, and other Athens sites. Highly recommend if you’re staying in Athens.

This property was so cute and very clean. Really nicely decorated. It is conveniently located, close to downtown and the Classic Center. Alex was very responsive when I had a question. Check in was very easy. Good parking. Will definitely stay here again.

The location is perfect. It is near downtown. It is tucked away from the noise of downtown so its nice and quite. The neighborhood is nice and so is parking. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay perfect!

Alex and Mers' apartment was fantastic!. We were in town for our kids' swim meet and this place was perfect for our family. The apartment was very clean, decorated beautifully, and it had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable and easy. Alex and Mer were great hosts!

The Artists Retreat is a great spot. Great location, easy access to the campus and downtown. The hosts were very attentive to our needs and responsive to all requests. We will stay here again.

Everything was perfect! I wanted to move in. The beds were the most comfortable ever! I even asked where they bought the mattresses. I have never slept better! Everything was so clean and beautiful! We will definetely go back again when we need to stay in Athens. Great hosts and Alex always kept in touch with anything I needed.

We spent the weekend at the Artist's Retreat and had an incredible experience. The cottage impressed us with its cleanliness, comfort, and the warm hospitality of the hosts. 'Cozy Cottage' truly lives up to its name—a charming retreat that perfectly blends warmth, comfort, and tranquility for an unforgettable stay!

We stayed here while visiting our student over Thanksgiving. The space was great and the house was immaculate! We were able to cook a holiday meal and enjoy having family together.

Hotels near our conference were full, so we found this lovely place to stay for the week. It was wonderful - very clean and comfortable! Excellent communication and parking right in front of the door! Location was super close to downtown and also a Publix (within a couple miles of each!). Would stay here again and highly recommend!!

I was in briefly to move my sophomore son in downtown. Beautifully equipped condo. Owners kept in constant communication! I only wish I could have stayed longer but will certainly be back!

Short one night stay in this lovely, seemingly brand new facility. Comfortable accommodations with everything we needed. Quality soaps provided. Welcome cookies a nice touch. Convenient location near our Athens family.
