Archies, Bowral - modern, peaceful, close to town

I honestly can't think of a single thing this lovely apartment DIDN'T have. We have stayed in a lot of apartments around the world and this was by far the best-equipped and well thought out - cutlery, crockery, utensils, games, information, magazines, books and more.It's also a lovely comfortable apartment in a quiet, peaceful spot a hop skip and a jump from a very nice hotel with a great bar and restaurant and an easy stroll to Bowral centre. I shouldn't be telling you this because we want to go back soon and it's already almost completely booked out until next April. Jand was brilliant, her communication was impeccable and we'd give it ten stars if we could.

We had a great stay! We tried The Hospital Shop Cafe and the nearby playgrounds. We loved walking around town. We were able to see the tulips on Thursday after we arrived on the train and just relaxed on Friday. My daughter loved all the toys and games.There wasn't anything missing in your apartment! Thanks, we'd love to come again sometime :)

We had a perfect 5 night stay in Bowral. The apartment, communication & location was just perfect. Jane has achieved the most beautiful result with her renovation. The apartment is located well on the 2nd floor, at the end of the corridor. It was just so quiet, light filled, cosy & comfortable; with all necessities available [including heated towel rails]. The under cover carpark is also a big plus. Walking distance to Bowral cafes, shops etc.We hope your apartment is available for our next visit.

Lovely property in a great location. Excellent kitchen with all amenities. Decor is tasteful throughout. Hosts were very friendly and highly communicative. Unfortunately, when we checked in at 5pm (check in was 4pm), we found the property unclean. The beds were not made, there were food scraps and stains, the floors were dirty. After calling the host, she informed us that there was some mix-up with their cleaners. She arranged for someone to come in then. A lady came in and tried to do the clean, while we were still sitting there, which was very inconvenient. The host offered to buy us a drink at the hotel next door, but after being on the road all day, we were really just looking to get our young child fed and ready for bed. Unfortunately, we had to sit around for another 2 hours, while some of the clean was done, and that too after we pitched in and helped. The hosts did offer us a late check-out, but we were unable to avail of that as we already had plans. The hosts did try to make it up to us, but unfortunately arriving at a messy house in the evening after a day on the road leaves a terrible first impression. It's a real shame because the property itself was great and we had a lovely weekend, but the start of it was not nice. Hopefully the hosts will resolve this issue and it will not happen to other guests in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay at Archies. The apartment is beautifully renovated, extremely comfortable and contains so many thoughtful inclusions - loved the snuggly bathrobes! We appreciated the peaceful location for a country escape and the walkable distance to Bowral’s beautiful shops and cafes. Hubby was so impressed that he could just walk across the road for a game of golf at Bowral Country Club. Thank you so much for being the perfect host, Jane.
