Apt Mountain Spirit, Arco - Fantastic Location | Mountain Views | Bike Storage

Darren is a wonderful host. A welcome pack was provided for us on our arrival and his communication throughout our stay was excellent. The apartment is lovely with all the facilities you could wish for. It is a 15 minute walk into Arco with its many bars and restaurants. It is a steep climb back up the hill so if you aren't fit when you arrive you will be by the end of your holiday! However the location on the hill make for stunning views. We loved it.

The apartment was lovely, well equipped with beautiful views over the mountain. We’d recommend using what3words as Google took us the wrong way. Everything you need is there plus little extras like books and local tourist guides. Clare and Darren were very helpful, they clearly love the local area and were happy to provide recommendations. They left a lovely little arrival gift and gave a tour. Arco is lovely and a fairly short walk although quite a steep hill! Loads of restaurants and often random evening entertainment such as bands and acrobatics in the square and up at the castle. There is lots to do around Lake Garda, we ended up paying for parking most days which is around €12. We choose a “difficult” via Ferrata near lake Garda which had the most amazing views, the climbing wasn’t difficult but the amount of walking was a lot. Darren and Clare sent a link to hire equipment which is about €15 a day. We also took a day trip to Venice which was 2-3 hour drive. Other people described the apartment as quiet, we found the neighbours were almost always out on balcony’s and in the gardens, there were two afternoon/evening dinner parties while we where there. Lots of dogs barking. Beautiful views of the mountain but it is in an apartment block so not always peaceful. Overall would we would highly recommend staying here!

The place exceeded all of our expectations - magnificent view to mountains, plus close to Arco and very quiet. Great starting point to explore surrounding. Rooms were clean and equipped with all neccessary stuffs.

It was a very relaxing stay for us in this excellent holiday flat. The internet description corresponds to the real conditions. Regarding the interior it is well equipped in a clear design and all was clean and in new condition (we only missed a teapot :-)). The up- and downhill road could be a bit challanging in the beginning of the stay. But it will become quickly easier after the first experience. I personally love it to drive in the mountains and injoyed it :-). Many thanks to Clare and Darren that we were allowed to stay in their great holiday flat an can give a high recommendation for booking.

We really enjoyed our week in this property. It is very clean and well appointed. We especially liked the terrace which has wonderful views of the surrounding hills. There were two comfortable loungers and a table and chairs so we spent quite a lot of time on the terrace, eating all of our meals out there. We spent a lovely day in Verona. It took about an hour to drive there and parking was easy in one of the many car parks surrounding the outskirts of the city. We also spent time walking and climbing Via Ferrata, including Cima Capi and Cima Sat. Exceptional climbs for which you do need ferrata kit. It was lovely to drive into Arco in the evenings for a drink or gelato and to do some people watching.

Darren's appartment is a great choice for visitors to north lake Garda. Comfortable, modern and well equipped. Great wine glasses and good knives.... two signs of a good rental... and this flat has both! We liked Arco very much with its youthful vibe compared to many of the lakeside towns like Riva, which are well, a bit middle aged. A super base for hiking, water sport and climbing. Great !
