Wonderful apartment within easy walking distance of downtown and stations. The apartment was perfect and our hosts made our stay very special. They took us on a sunset tour of Mount Etna which was incredible.

The owners of this property, Maria & Lorenzo were very accommodating and beautiful people and helped us with our wonderful Sicilian vacation. First, they met us at the airport and drove us to to property. They even accommodated one of our family members with parking a rental car, since parking is a bit difficult in this area. The apartment was very clean and upgraded, however, according to US interpretation, this is really only a 2 bedroom with a fold out couch in the living room. One of the bathrooms is located outside of the apartment which is a bit slippery to access when it rains. The washing machine worked perfectly but no clothes dryer is available so we did it the Italian way and hung our clothes on a clothes line. The appliances are new and all worked very well but no microwave or toaster oven is available. The apartment is about a minute walk across the parking lot from a really nice grocery store and not that far from many beautiful sights Catania is known for. I rated the location a bit harsh because the location could be considered a bit sketchy because it is pretty dark at night and activity and view from the balcony is questionable. Daytime felt very safe and evening strolls felt safe in a group. Even though we did not have all the creatures of comfort we are so accustom to, we were able to find ways to adapt to the very normal Italian way of life. Overall, it was a very lovely stay and our family would definitely stay again.

An amazing holiday, everything as described The hospitality of the hosts was great, the property was pristine. It made for a very relaxing few days in Catania. Would definitely recommend this property.

One of our best experiences--EVER! We cannot say enough great things about our hosts, Maria and Lorenzo. From the initial contact via email through the final goodbye and group photo, Maria and Lorenzo held our hands through the entire process. Far from a transaction, Maria and Lorenzo ensure that they go out of their way, every time, to take care of even the smallest of details. Their level of hospitality is unmatched. The apartment we rented was extremely clean, modern, and completely updated with air-conditioning, a washing machine, televisions (all smart TVs!), and electronic lock security. We were a 5-minute walk to bustling Mt Etna street and that kept us entertained with restaurants, cafes, and tons of shopping. Maria and Lorenzo also own a guided tour company complete with their own transportation (modern company van) so on multiple occasions we did some awesome tours. We saw and hiked Mount Etna; explored caves; visited multiple towns and cities, and were presented with the best local views on where to eat and shop. Maria speaks outstanding English (for us non-Italians) and is fluent in French. She will ensure every itinerary item is fulfilled. We will definitely stay again!

Maria and Lorenzo are excellent hosts. Our flights were delayed by over 6 hours and she met our flight at 2330. The apt was clean and had everything we needed. We had an issue with the washer ( our fault) snd they were quick to answer our email. Very close to everything with markets close. Would recommend this apartment.
