Appartement Bordeaux Oxhooft at the port of Veere on the first floor.

The flat is very comfortable and spacious with a lovely view on the small marina of the picturesque town. We enjoyed the very friendly atmosphere in the little town. It is a charming resort providing various places where you can enjoy good food and drink served by very amicable waitresses/waiters. It is a good starting point for bicyle rides. And Holland is an ideal place for bicycle tours because it has the best cycle tracks ever. The flat owner has paid for our parking lot on one of the town's official parking places. So we only had a very short walk to our flat from there and didn't have to worry about the otherwise very high costs: 50 Euros for a day ticket. So we could pleasantly relax during our entire stay at Veere. Their museum is a must. It includes an old townhouse, their town hall and an old unfinished church which serves as a exhibition room for all kinds of art. Moreover, you can go up the tower (about 250 steps high) and enjoy a marvellous view of the entire area. It is also very nice to walk around in the little town with its beautiful houses and gardens. To conclude: it is always worth a visit to come back again!

In the belle etage (1st Floor) the view is directly to the small harbor of sailing boats with sunset behind. Bathroom and kitchenette and living room are top level beautiful. For the beds i would like to have oversize 2,20 meters length ones in future. We can recommend this apartment and host. Greetings from cologne to Veere. We’ve been in many other apartments in and out of Holland and this one is the best we have ever been. Charming, well equipped and with a excellent level of comfort. Best bed and best couch we have ever had when on holiday. While appreciating the great view you can comfortably have a drink and relax in the big chair. In our opinion a pearl in a nice and lovely village. Very friendly and nice owner. We seriously recommend a booking .

Nice 1 bedroom apartment at a great location ,overlooking harbor and lake. Due to the small town ,it easy to navigate by walking or biking. Close to Middelburg and Vlissingen. Hosts are great to deal with, are there when needed, otherwise will leave you alone. Only drawback is you must be able to climb a set of steep stairs, which could be a problem if your mobility is somewhat limited. Otherwise highly recommended. Bill and Mary van Veen

Had an excellent stay and would love to come again. Great place and hospitality. Minor comment is that German TV channels were not available, but you don't go there to watch TV.
