Appartamento La Punta di Bellagio, Bellagio, Italy

Never again. The home owner was lovely and helpful. However, the property management company were rude, disrespectful, and refused to make right the fact that we had to check out a day early due to plumbing issues (no working shower or toilet). If something goes wrong, you are on your own. We don't mind that things happen and it is no fault of the host (she was trying her best and brought in a plumber), yet we very much mind being treated by the management company with disdain and complete disregarded for our request to not pay for the full day/night that we could not be there due to the situation. The way we were treated completely spoiled our trip and we paid extra to fly home a full day early just to get away from such a sad experience.

Spectacular property owned and managed by the most wonderful people anyone could ever imagine. Clara and Sonia were so warm and welcoming and their care and concern in support of my stay exceeded my high expectations. You will not find a better situated property in Belaggio, literally on the lake at the point of the town with breathtaking views. The unit is also next store to, what I think, is the best restaurant in town. It was simply an extraordinary visit made so special by Clara and Sonia. They are beautiful people in a wondrous setting. It was difficult to leave. I can’t wait to return to this iconic town and stay at this very same, gorgeous unit.

What a marvelous apartment with great amenities and an unbelievable view.

We were very sad to leave this place and hope to return soon - thus I am almost tempted to tell you that you should not visit this place, since you will never want to stay anywhere else afterwards finding this great spot. (and we want to return :) ) The previous review nicely summarized it as well - you will be sitting there like a king and the only small downside is that every few days a drone from a tourist who wants to see who sits at this beautiful spot will fly by. Clean, Accurate, GREAT hosts, quiet, best spot in town and for that matter at Lake Como for my taste.

Wonderful location

The best way to summarize this property is to describe the look of envy of others walking through the park who could see us relaxing on our lakeside porch. You could see their wonder of how we got such a prime spot. Clara is a gracious host who provides all you need yet makes you feel the house is all yours alone. We were devastated we had to leave.

This apartment is located a few minute walk out of town (lovely walk at that too) and right next door the restaurant La Punta. It's right on the water, recently upgraded and for us just perfect. The host live on the second floor and rent out the 1st floor. They were super nice, helped with reservation and recommendations. They brought us prosecco twice during our week stay and even some home made treats. The host is chef herself and you even have her make you a home made meal if you give her some notice. Lovely people the whole family. At night the next door restaurant would play music as we sipped wine and looking out on the lake. In the morning I'd walk over for a cappuccino. There is also a boat rental right by the restaurant which we did twice (highly highly recommend renting a boat best way to see the lake and a so much fun!). This place and experience was simply awesome!!

We stayed two weeks and wish it was 4 months. The kitchen and bath are brand new and beautiful. Fresh paint throughout, and immaculately clean. Probably the best location in Bellagio - close to one of the finest restaurants we've ever been to, a very nice stroll into town with shopping, ferry access, etc. The family that owns this property are just wonderful and very helpful with any details. We can't wait to return.

June 2018 The apartment is fantastic! Incredible location and views, spotlessly clean, new well equipped kitchen and bath. You can walk to the ferry terminal in about 7 minutes and journey to all villages on Lake Como with ease. And an easy walk to all that Bellagio has to offer. The owners, who live upstairs, are wonderful and are very helpful with any and all questions. Many favorite restaurants, but La Punta (right next door), we feel is the best in Bellagio - amazing setting, service and food. We will be returning to this apartment for sure. Mark, UK

“Carla welcomed us when we arrived and we had a fantastic four and a half days at La Punta di Bellagio. The apartment was as described and was perfect for us, a family with two children. Easy walking into Bellagio and around a 40min drive to Como and an hour to Milan. Amazing views and you are right at the point in Bellagio next to a fantastic restaurant. Would certainly visit again. We were able to park our car at the restaurant car park (but very limited spaces) and Carla took care of the local Bellagio car tax for us.”
