Lovely apartment. Small for 1 bedroomed but was great for just the two of us. Easy check-in and very clean. Ideally situated within walking distance of both the old town and the marina. Although may be a struggle for anyone with walking difficulties. I would definitely stay here again.

It is party central in the area and pull out couch needs to be changed (you feel every metal bar and terribly uncomfortable). Familly could not get a good night rest. Good option for college/university students looking to have fun, not for famillies.

Beautiful, clean apartment. Really enjoyed the pool and the bar which opens in the evenings on the complex is excellent .

The condo was precisely as shown in the photos. Knowing that our stay was for 22 days, we were left with just one garbage bag, 2 rolls of TP. The outdoor loungers were held together with duct tape, the sofa was stained and uncomfortable to sit on, the beach umbrella folded outward at the smallest breeze. The bed was comfortable, but all of the pillows were small and bunched. BEWARE that the sliding door locks when closed (we were locked out on our first night here). One tea towel was provided, but nothing to wash the dishes. There were multiple pans and pots, but only one lid. As a first-time visitor to Portugal, it would have been nice to have a visitor map of the area, and the condo complex (it took us a few days to find the pool). The view from the balcony is just as shown in the photos, so that everywhere we wanted to go required walking down hill and back up again. It was 82 steps from the unit to the pool. These inclines were very steep.Not so bad going, but back to the unit was extremely difficult. We could walk to the Intermarche in about 15 minutes, but all the way back up took 20 minutes. Likewise, we could walk to the marina or into Old Town Albufeira (it's a very steep incline for both). We had to provide our own cooking essentials (salt, pepper, cooking oil). Good hot water, and pressure in the shower.

We arrived in the Algarve 1 March 2024 and moved into our condo in Albufeita Jardim. Karine our host, had the condo ready and we moved in early. We went for a tour around the community with friends and upon our return we discovered that there was a water break in the building and we had lost all water. I contacted Karine and as it was late, a repair crew was contacted but couldn’t start work until the next day. She was very proactive and had water delivered for flushing the toilet and drinking water. It took four days to repair the issue, Karine continued to have water delivered and got us another condo to shower and get water. This was not a problem that could have been predicted by the owner or the host, Karine was incredibly responsive to our needs. After four days a fix was completed and we didn’t have any further issues. The condo was clean, well stocked and as described in the adds. For extended stay clients IPTV would be a benefit and a more comfortable sofa. The walking distance to old town takes about 20/25 minutes and the return is mainly uphill, it takes longer that requires significant effort. I have to commend the VRBO customer support team, specifically Argel for the excellent customer service. We were able to relax in knowing that Argel was on the case, we felt that we were important and we were fully being supported. Our vacation started out with some difficulties but finished off with a very positive experience. I will book through VRBO whenever we travel.

Everything great overall! Flat and kitchen are fully equipped have nice, modern furniture. Accurate photos and description. A little high over the town but still possible to walk downtown in 25 minutes. The only surprises were a few ants inside the home and the airconditioning not being very strong.

The apartment is clean and tidy. Everything you need and with a good size pool to swim in. Be prepared to walk though as the complex is at the top of a hill and the apartment is a few more flights of steps further up past the pool . The Town is within easy walking distance but is uphill walk back to the apartment .

We planned on staying for two weeks while we waited for our apartment to be ready. Shortly after checking in, we knew we weren't going to be comfortable staying here but we were unable to shorten the stay except for two days granted by the owner. The area below is very touristy and will be busy, especially in Summer. It takes about fifteen minutes to walk down to the beach but it is a strenuous walk all the way back up the hill. The view is nice from the balcony. The wifi does work, you have to look on the MEO modem/router. The TV options aren't great but you can stream your own stuff from your phone. Our main issue was the bed in the bedroom. It was a pretty thin and very stiff mattress. It felt like a sleeper sofa bed. Uber was readily available when we needed a ride. We were only given one roll of toilet paper for a two week stay and there is no bidet. The shower is the type that drains really slowly so you will be standing in water throughout your shower. There doesn't seem to be enough hot water for three or more people in the unit. We kept our showers very short to make sure there was enough. We ended up leaving a week early anyways.

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment: the view from the balcony on the sea is so beautiful, the apartment is very well equipped in the kitchen aswell as in the bathroom. We were very happy that there was a safe to secure our most important belongings. The apartment is located on a big apartment complex with a very nice pool area and parking spaces. In Portugal in general you are able to buy wifi (from Meo-wifi) for up to 1 week. So if wifi is needed, you can buy it online. We would definitely recommend this apartment and would visit again!
