Apostle Is.'s gateway/next scenic marinas/fireplace/jacuzzi/corner w 4 windows

We were on the off season and it was so quiet and peaceful.

This little condo is wonderful for a weekend getaway or overnight. Very clean and comfortable. The jetted tub is a great way to unwind after a day on the water. The fireplace makes is so cozy. Parking is unclear but it is winter.

Very convenient location to local marina. Perfect place for 1 or 2 people. Very clean and good communication with the host. Wish the lighting was a bit better, very dim inside, but then that may be my eyesight getting older! Will definitely reserve again in the future when I go sailing again.

Great place for a get-away up North. Extremely clean and owners have thought of everything to make your stay perfect. The bed was so comfortable!! Close to Bayfield and its shops and restaurants. We will definitely be back!

Bed was abnormally soft, to the point where we felt each other’s every movement and woke each other up constantly. It was a bit awkward to clean the dishes in the bathroom sink, as there was no kitchen sink. Television was incredibly small and difficult to see, and wasn’t able to connect to our devices, as it wasn’t a smart TV. But the condo was very clean, and in a nice location. Very close to the downtown area, but secluded enough that there was no noise.

Awesome! Had a firepit, Barbeque, outdoor seating combined with a beautiful and clean room. Location wasclose to Bayfield but far enough away for some quiet. For us it was perfect! Thank you!

It was such a nice little hide away! The location was easy to get to. The place was very cute inside & outside! Quite a few fun things to go do or just to relax! The jacuzzi was very nice to use & relax in! We def want to visit again!

The VRBO was very clean and as described! The host was very communicative and accomodating. Very close to Apostle Islands lakeshore and downtown Bayfield. Would stay again!

Room was very clean and tidy. It is only a mile or 2 outside of Bayfield. The units are private in the woods but are close to the highway so you do hear a light bit of traffic. There is a fan in the room and we travel with a sleep noise maker so was not an issue. Price is reasonable for the area and I would stay hear again.

Location was perfect!

It is a corner unit with 4 windows. It provides plenty of natural light. I enjoyed that a lot. We were not lucky with the weather and had to stay inside more than anticipated. But it was so cozy, bright and clean. I liked to snuggle in the chair with hot tea. The unit is very nicely decorated. The bedding sheets and blanket was so soft and warm. Bed was little too soft for my taste. The Internet was fast. I would definitely come back. Ps. It would be great if there was a small vacuum cleaner and some cleaning supply.

Perfectly placed to give us access to the harbor, downtown Bayfield and Washburn! Everything was within minutes of our door yet you felt secluded as well. Great fire pit area and grills for guest use made it even better!The host Lisa was a fantastic communicator with quick responses! Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again!

Great, clean, cozy space! Just perfect for me. Enjoyed the pool almost everyday. Close to beach and Bayfield. Host is lovely and very quick to respond to any questions I had. Already booked it for next year's swim!!

Very easy to make a reservation, room was as stated (clean, updated, and comfortable). Minutes away from downtown, restaurants and Bayfield Marina but still in a wooded area away from the traffic. Whirlpool was a pleasant addition and relaxing. Would love to stay there again, if in the area.

This was a very nice place for our stay at the Apostle islands. I gave five stars for everything except for the location. Somehow, I expected to see the lake from the condo, but it is in the woods. That didn’t matter though because it was fine in every other way. We would book it again if we come back to Bayfield.

I had a great time staying at this property! It's very conveniently located and slightly out of the way of the busy downtown Bayfield area. It only took about 8 minutes for me to get to the boat launch. The condo was clean and had everything I needed for a great stay!

Beautifully appointed studio style condo in the woods, but close to Bayfield (6 minute drive). Communication from the owner (Lisa) was outstanding. Very comfortable bed and the condo has more than enough room for 2 people. Would definitely stay here again if we make a return visit to Bayfield!

Everything was clean, nicely furnished and fairly comfortable. This is a nice location to getting to area sights, yet retreating to the quiet.

We had the most perfect stay for a two-night getaway! It felt like a cozy cottage located slightly outside of town tucked in a quiet, wooded area-- but still very close to the Bayfield restaurants, shops and activities. The bed was comfortable, it was very clean and tidy, and decorated so cute. Check-in/out was seamless, everything was exactly as described in the description and the host was very responsive. If we come back to the area we will definitely stay there again.

Very clean, quiet, comfortable, and exceeded our expectations. What a nice spot to come back to after a day of hiking or bike riding.This is ideal as a base for exploring the area, or just staying in to have some relaxing downtime.The accommodation was wonderful, but what also adds to the great experience is the communicative and gracious host.

Lovely little studio --kitchenette (without stove) is handy. Quiet. Didn't spend much time here as there was so much fun to be had, but it was a lovely home base, comfortable bed. No concerns. Thanks!!!!

This is a lovely spot for a one person retreat!! SO quiet, and so clean. The Keurig was a nice addition, with all the extras - having a little frig and microwave is so convenient. I found the bed super comfy, and slept well. I could easily stay here for a week...

All was great. There is a need for a new recliner and the bed could be replaced with something more firm.

Quiet and relaxing

Brookside Hideaway was a great place for a winter get away weekend. Cozy, clean and comfy. We used the jacuzzi tub and fireplace - very nice. Perfect location for skiing at Mt Ashwabay!

We stayed here to be near Washburn to explore the ice caves. It was cute and cozy, and it had exactly what we needed!

Not ideal for a couple in their late 70's, recovering from a recent heart attack - lots of outside steps to the second floor suite. Only one easy chair, the other one of us had to sit on a straight-backed chair, or in bed. Fortunately, we didn't spend much time in the suite. The kitchenette had everything we needed to prepare a light breakfast and supper. Pleasant atmosphere, and certainly adequate.

We had a great stay in this VRBO! Loved the cozy atmosphere and only a short drive into Ashland or Bayfield. Great for a few days on our trip.

Peaceful and quaint, even though mere few dozen yards from the main road. The greenery muffles any sounds from the highway. Bayfield proper is a couple of miles away

The location was great! It was close enough to all of the attractions, but still remote enough in the woods that it felt very private. Room was clean and welcoming and had everything we needed/expected for our stay. Would definitely recommend this room.

clean & quiet

The condo unit was immaculate. It was on an upper level with outdoor stairs. I would mention that in the property description (if it is, I missed it...) as that's somewhat difficult for me. On the particular morning that I was there, the maintenance people started their outdoor work prior to checkout, which was not great. Very loud powerwasher on the decking.

Convenient location. Clean. Affordable. Comfortable.

This is a terrific 2nd floor rental condo just outside of Bayfield. The room is very large and boasts windows on 3 sides for wonderful cross ventilation and light. There is a nicely stocked kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker with supplies, toaster and toaster oven. Dishes, glassware and utensils are conveniently stored at the high top dining table. A grill and an outdoor dining table make it simple to have a full meal onsite if desired. The room is thoughtfully decorated and comfortably appointed with good bed linens and plenty of nice towels. A comfy armchair recliner provides a great spot from which to enjoy the television with multiple streaming channels, after a big day of sightseeing. The host was excellent in providing contact information in case of need, and sharing helpful tips on amenities and services. For us, the close proximity to Big Top Chautauqua was a draw. We hope to return to Bayfield and Brookside Hideaway very soon.

This was a clean, cozy, convenient getaway place. The area is beautiful and this is a great place to stay with easy access. The hosts communicated well to be sure that we had an enjoyable overnight. We definitely recommend and hope to stay again!

Everything was in great order and went fine. My only concern was the mattress and bed was not comfortable for Chrystal and I. It did not support our backs and the other problem is if you moved it made noises and woke each other up the first 2 nights. Like to see a more comfortable bed. Otherwise everything was great...and a superb time was had by us...

Lisa was a very responsive host and the condo was very close to all the sights we wanted to see in Bayfield. It was very clean and quiet and perfect for my husband and I. We would definitely stay here again if in the area and highly recommend.
