Stayed Nov 11, 2024The apartment provided everything we needed for our stay as a couple. It is situated within an easy walk of St Valery centre and had the bonus of private gated parking. Communication with the proprietor was excellent and the checkin process was faultless - thank you, Isobel! It was clean when we arrived and everything was provided for us to leave it the same. The building was very quiet, perhaps a bonus of coming in November.

Stayed Apr 22, 2023An enjoyable stay at a comfortable apartment. The outlook over the garden gave us pleasure, especially when we received a visit from a Roe Deer The internal facilities were generally good although the kitchen area provides little room for food preparation.

Stayed Jun 2, 2018We had a lovely time at this apartment, a very warm welcome from Monsieur Guetre with a very much appreciated gateau. The balcony overlooking the grounds was the ideal spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner, especially nice to hear the steam train go by. I have written more about our stay in this lovely area on my blog Aimetu's - wine, food and travel Merci bien Monsieur et Madame Guetre pour une belle apartment et bon vacances.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969 5 of 5 We have recently spent three enjoyable weeks in this property. The apartment is located perfectly in a quieter part of the town but just a few minutes walk from the riverside and the town centre. The apartment itself is very well-kept, clean and comfortable, with all mentioned amenities. We found the place even more spacious than anticipated. The owners, Monsieur & Mme Guetre are very helpful and friendly. The town of St Valery sur Somme is charming, with plenty to do and see. Even though we were there early in the season, there was lots on offer including the little steamtrain to Crotoy, guided walks and boat trips. We are looking forward to returning some time in the future.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The hosts' friendly welcome, and the gift of a gateau battu, was so much better than collecting the keys from an agent. The apartment was a delight. It was conveniently close to the centre of St Valery, yet with private parking one could drive away and back without having to fight with the traffic in town. The flat was well appointed with all the equipment one needed, the bed was comfortable, the environment was quiet, and being able to sit in the sunshine on the balcony was a bonus. We really did feel that we had found the ideal place to stay in an area that is full of interest

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We spent a great week in this delightful little apartment which is a pleasant 8-10 minute walk along the river, past the marina (and past the little train) to the centre of St Valery sur Somme. We found everything as described. It was very clean and well equipped as well as light and airy and quiet. It is in a modern block (with lift) which is also very clean and well maintained. The balcony overlooks a central green area/trees and we liked having the secure, private parking. The apartment is perfect for two people although there is a fold-down bed in an alcove off the lobby which would be suitable for a third person/child. The Intermarche supermarket is just on the edge of town but only a 5 minute walk from the apartment. St Valery is a lovely little town (the fishermen's quarter, the mediaeval quarter, the chapel) with a superb boulangerie/patisserie on rue de la Ferte and lots of good restaurants and a great market on Sunday mornings. There is so much to do in the area, especially if you like walking, and Amiens cathedral is not to be missed. The owners, too, are delightful. We shall look forward to returning as soon as we can.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The apartment is located perfectly in a quiet part of the town, near to two well-stocked supermarkets and to the Somme Bay. The apartment itself is very well-kept, clean and comfortable, with all mentioned amenities. Everything you could need is there, and then some. We found the place even more spacious than anticipated. The owner is very helpful and friendly. The town of St Valery sur Somme is a charming little town, with plenty of things to do and see in the town itself or nearby. Even though we visited in the off-season, there were many things on offer including the little steamtrain to Crotoy and several types of guided walks. We are looking forward to coming back some time soon!
