Charming, romantic, ancient, beautiful are just a few of the adjectives used when describing Mala Strana, the oldest quarter in Prague. The cobbled streets in this part of town are smaller and narrower than elsewhere in the city. They retain the charm and atmosphere of a city from the 16th, 17th or 18th century. This apartment is also very close, about 50 meters, from the Infant of Prague Church, a statue which was placed with the Carmelites in Prague in the 17th century.

We had an amazing stay in Prague, being our first time we had high expectations but didn’t know what to expect. We selected this rental because it was away from Old Town but close to the Charles Bridge and Prague Castle. In fact it was more convenient being close to a few cafes and restaurants right under St Nicholas. The price for our stay was one of the main factors as well as location. The apartment was clean, located on the third floor and with all the hustle and bustle in the street it was always quiet. The apartment on the Mala Strana offered easy access to trams and the metro if you didn’t feel like walking. We had a great time on the VRBO and in Prague. Thanks for everything! Cannot wait to return.

The pictures do not do justice to this little gem of an apartment set in a fairytale location. The proprietors were proactive and helpful communicators. This was a delightful stay in every way!

This owner has multiple properties in Prague, which he runs from England with the help of two managers in Prague. He puts things right, as far as he is able from a distance, but is chaotic. The first flat we had booked did not tally with the online description - the floor plan was for another, larger flat. The beds had been made up with torn sheets. I emailed the owner and he very kindly gave us a choice of three others flats, one of which we took. Same wonderful area, but unfortunately same level of housekeeping. Bedding smelt of sweat. Both flats were in beautiful buildings in fantastic areas, so a shame they were so badly maintained.

Had a short stay in Prague in a beautiful traditional building. Close to amenities and transportation.

Out the door to the left is several good restaurants and bars, a bit off the beaten path. Follow around to the left and you end up at the foot of Charles Bridge. Follow around to the right, Lennon Wall. Both less than 5 minutes. We also walked to the castle, lots of up hill but fun walk. The apartment is just like it is in the pictures, not terribly fancy but comfortable and totally met our needs.
