Stayed Dec 22, 2025It was a complete 5 star experience. The apartment was modern and comfortable, the walk to the villiage was pleasant and bus service ran every 8-12 minutes most of the day. The view was more spectacular than can be imagined in photos. I did find that it was just as easy to take the bus to the funicular or railway as it was to walk to the gondola.Dining in town can get spendy, so having an equipped kitchen is super helpful. The Coop grocery is near the train stations and close to a red-line bus stop as well. It was a great place to stay for a once-in-a-lifetime bucket list ski destination.

Stayed Dec 31, 196925 mins walk uphill from the station (much quicker downhill). We caught the little red bus on arrival as we had luggage. The property was easy to find and was very clean, comfortable and quiet. Zermatt is expensive so we chose to eat in every night, with food bought at the Coop. The kitchen is well equipped and you have such a stunning and ever-changing view of the Matterhorn right from the balcony - the picture really doesn't do it justice. There are some walks from the apartment but it's not too far to get to the various cable cars, mountain trains etc. Would definitely recommend. OK, it's not right in the middle of town but don't you come to Zermatt to look at the Matterhorn.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This is a very well equipped, very well looked after, spacious apartment tucked away in a quiet and pretty spot. We would definitely recommend this to another family but maybe not with very little children as it is a 15 minute uphill walk from town!
