Siena, Toscana
The apartement "Gli Archi" is part of Villa il Borghetto.
Villa il Borghetto offers apartments in a historic Villa with the guarantee of an authentic hospitality, thanks to the family management of the "landlords" Claudio & Cristina.
Villa il Borghetto has been designed to accommodate families wishing to experience Siena as a local, offering a convenient location to visit Siena without giving up the view of the Typical Tuscany rolling hills and the convenience of a free private parking.
A cozy and characteristic two roomed unit (40sqm), "Gli Archi" is part of my splendid aristocratic residence originating from the early 1600, located in Siena, just 1,8 km outside the ancient walls of the historical centre of Siena.
The apartment is composed of a living area with lounge and kitchen, a double bedroom and a yellow bathroom with tub/shower.
The apartment has a direct access to the garden which surrounds the Villa and is noted for its beamed ceilings.
It is equipped with:
Free Wi-Fi connection
Independent Heating/air conditioning adjustable in each room
HD digital TV
Fully equipped kitchen
Dish washer
Oven
Washing machine (for free in the shared laundry)
Linen for bedroom, bathroom and kitchen
Iron

Hair-dryer
Immersed in the Sienese countryside and only 5 minutes from the town historical centre the apartment Gli Archi lends itself to a relaxing stay and to the discovery of the innumerable medieval beauties of Siena and its surroundings.
During your stay you will experience a unique sensation of being just outside the ancient walls of Siena surrounded by the Tuscan countryside.
The apartment is in Via Tufi 64, just 20 min walking from historical centre of Siena or 5 minutes by bus (the bus stop is in front of the main entrance and the bus runs every 15 minutes). You can leave your car in our private and free parking.
We highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Siena and wanting a place near the city but not in the bustle of the centre. It's simple, but beautifully kept and faultlessly clean. The view is lovely, with the only slight downside being some noise from the main road below, but it didn't stop us sleeping even with the window open. We met Cristina and Giulia, who were both really helpful and always smiling and chatty. The apartment has most things you could need for self-catering and it felt private. Buses are regular and cheap, and though we were too hot and lazy to walk in, it wouldn't have been too far at all. Note that the supermarket is within walking distance, though it's not really designed to access on foot from the property - it's doable, just be careful of the road. We would definitely go back if we're in Siena again.
