Stayed Aug 3, 2025Pros: A quiet, peaceful apartment comprising the ground floor of a 3-storey home, above a beautiful lake, in rural Bavaria within easy reach of Lake Constance. Wild swimming, strolls in the countryside, and exploring the sites wee possible by car, but it was relaxing just enjoying the quiet garden views from the many sets of garden furniture. Free parking and WiFi was appreciated. Cons: WiFi in the property was patchy, and would improve with a repeater, and the TV though an excellent screen size could not access Netflix/streaming services. The kitchen had countertop appliances but no dishwasher or washing machine, given the laudably eco-friendly approach of the attentive, friendly hosts.
