Apartment Gil

We chose this location to celebrate our 25th anniversary and highly recommended it. The ocean views from the bedroom and dining room windows were only topped by the 360-degree view from the spacious rooftop deck. Several eating spots, a market and the local beach were all within easy walking distance. The apartment was fabulous, just as pictured! Harald was a very welcoming and helpful host, and was always available on site. An ideal location for a memorable experience!!

The house is pleasant with plenty of comfort. Fully equipped with all appliances working perfectly and a barbecue grill for good snacks. The views are breathtaking and we can observe an incredible sunset. Definitely recommend.

We really felt cozy and comfortable with the place. A huge benefit was a location, just on the cliffs, where you can start your hike along the ocean. As well a roof terrace and friendly property manager Harold, who treated us with fruits from his garden.

The rental is exactly like the pictures . The terrace view is breathtaking. Loved having our nightly drink as the sun went down. You are walking distance to restaurants and to the beach. Harald was so friendly and accommodating to our every need. It was hard to leave, but , we will be back.

The property was one in a block of 4 and the only one not being or had been renovated. Décor was a little tired, but the quirky maritime theme worked well and made up for this. The stairs to the roof terrace would not be suitable for the elderly or the infirm and was potentially dangerous. I have a visual impairment and only just managed them. All the other apartment have had them altered. The building works went on next door for the two weeks we were there.

The apartment was super clean and very pretty. So close to the water and the cliffs. Perfect place for a relaxed vacation. We definitely plan to visit again. Harald, the host, was so accommodating. He responds to any question or need immediately. His pleasant personality is definitely worth mentioning. Thank you Harald!!! We were sad to leave this place and the memories will live in us forever. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay with a magnificent ocean view and close to some of the most gorgeous beaches in the Algarve, this is certainly a good choice. Restaurants, bares and supermarkets are in walking distance as well. The balcony on the rooftop has a grill (which was highly appreciated) and it’s perfect for sunloungers and relax. The kitchen is well equipped (even has a washing machine) and the apartment well maintained and clean (this apartment has a more maritime style to it, if you are looking for a more modern style, you should check the other apartments from this owner). The owner is attentive and always reachable by phone. We had our 7-month baby with us and were provided with a baby cot. Fresh oranges and lemons from the owners garden were displayed in front of the office for the guests so we had a lovely fresh orange juice every morning! Also a bottle of wine and water were provided on arrival - what a nice touch! Great place to enjoy a nice vacation - I would definitely recommend it!
