Stayed May 28, 2023Everything was wonderful, the host, the location, the facilities, the view and the roof terrace. Short walk to restaurants and shops. 200m from the sea. Very friendly and responsive host who couldn’t do enough for us. The roof terrace was superb - we had dinner up there with a wonderful view.

Stayed Oct 1, 2022This was our third stay in Carboneras at the same property, so I guess that tells its own story. Luis is such a great host and his apartments are well maintained and appointed. Great sunrises and you only lose it around 7pm. The beach at the power station end of Carboneras has the clearest water I have ever swum in and so warm, even in Oct. Think we'll be back

Stayed Oct 11, 2021We spent a fabulous 10 days in Carboneras. Such a pretty town with stunning beaches, plus staying in Luis's apartment makes it so much better. Waking up to the sound of the waves and the sunrise out of the bedroom window cannot be beaten. We shall be back.

Stayed Feb 8, 2020The apartment was beautifully situated, quiet, convenient for beach and town and very comfortable. Parking was no problem. The heating was needed and worked well. The lift and bathroom fan did not work. Luis and Ana were helpful. We needed to use our basic Spanish.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Communication with Luis was very good in the run up to the holiday. There was no communication during our stay but that suited us fine. Apart from the huge power station located at the end of town carboneras itself is a non-touristy, interesting place with plenty of places to eat and drink. It will obviously be busy in the summer but I imagine it’s mainly Spanish tourists. The region is incredible to explore and for this you need a car. Watch out for some of the coast roads, not for the faint hearted! And make a trip to the desert; amazing! Overall a fantastic stay.
