Stayed Dec 3, 2025Loved our stay at the Cottage on the Canal. We were in town for a tournament at Lakewood Ranch so the house is about 20 minutes away. We were close enough to go to the beach on our day off. The fishing off the dock was a great activity and there were plenty of other outdoor games for the kids. We also loved the coffee bar and the working station too. Our host was great and communicated so quickly with everything. Would love to stay here again!

Stayed May 11, 2025The property was clean upon arrival. The host was more then gracious and extremely accommodating. Fenced yard was great for the dogs. Pool was a plus to have on the days we felt like being lazy, but with the provided boat dock, we brought a boat and spent most the days in the water. Caught several nice catfish from the dock also. Will definitely be looking into rebooking this beautiful home at a later date.

Stayed Feb 22, 2025Such a lovely spacious place. Loved the pool patio with just enough shade to spend hours there.Watching the Mullett jump in the mornings from the dock and the wildlife with a cup of coffee!Went to spring training games which was about 10 minite drive.

Stayed Feb 4, 2025Very nice property in a great location. The accommodations were perfect for our group of 4 seniors. The house was very clean and comfortable for the two couples. Unfortunately, we did not take advantage of the outdoor amenities at the house because we were busy with friends.

Stayed Jun 28, 2023This was a perfect fit for me, my wife and our dog. I was able to launch my kayak from the secluded dock and fish every morning. The yard was perfect for us, very well lit at night and several seating areas to get out of the sun. We would definitely come back.

Stayed Jan 13, 2023The cottage on the canal was a perfect place to stay. It is well stocked with everything you need! Very roomy and clean. The backyard has a great relaxing view and the kids enjoyed all the games. I highly recommend staying here.
