Stayed Mar 24, 2024There is a very strong odor from the Subway restaurant below. When I shared this concern with the owner and told him we would need to find other accommodations, he agreed to refund half of our payment for the second night if we were able to leave by 11am. At 10:30am, an irate man showed up at the door, insisting we leave immediately. We had to pull wet laundry out of the dryer and throw it in our suitcase. The property is very convenient and well- maintained on the inside, but does have an odor so is not a good choice for people sensitive to smells. Unless, of course, you love Subway sandwiches.

Stayed Sep 22, 2023This is a perfect place for doing Zion hikes/exploring because you are within 1/4 mile of entrance to park, the Zion Peddler fo bike rentals, grocery store, NP Visitor Center and nice eating area. This means you can catch the shuttle - do a hike and come back for a lunch break then go out and do another hike! This also means you don't have to use your car. One car is free to park with your place and you can get an extra spot for a nightly fee if needed. Carrying your junk up to the place was super close by and we felt our cars were safe there. If you are out for the day and ready to just sit on the couch, there is a Subway, Pizza place and icecream shop below you. Minor issues were water did not stay hot long for the showers and the smell of Subway/Pizza did fill the hallway but not our apartment. A very nice plus is a free washer and dryer to use. The kitchen is large and well stocked. Dishwasher, oven, stove were all great. Storage was everywhere. We treated our son, his wife and 2 grandkids to this trip. We all slept in the bedroom with a closed door. A bunk bed (queen size) and a king in one room made this easy. There is a pull out bed but we did not use it so I can't vouch for it being comfy. Can't wait to bring my other grown children. Blessings on your trip!

Stayed Jun 27, 2023As they say: Location, location, location!! I don’t think you can get much closer to the park entrance. The place was exactly what we needed and worked well for our family of 5. Comfy beds and great kitchen amenities.

Stayed Jun 9, 2023We loved this property for our visit to Zion NP. The location is FANTASTIC. Being able to walk across the street to the park entrance is unbeatable. The living room/kitchen/dining area is a great size. And having in room laundry was fantastic after long days of hiking. We also were able to walk/ride the shuttle into Springdale for dining options. Our only complaints are that the queen sized bunk beds were pretty wobbly, and we had to hand tighten some of the screws on the upper bunk railings. The keypad entry was easy, but it only controls the lock on the door handles, no deadbolt. We felt very safe though, but just something for others to know.

Stayed Apr 6, 2026The location was great. The beds were very comfortable which was important after long days of hiking. The parking wasn’t ideal since another car was parked in the reserved spot when we arrived, but it was fine by the first evening. The noise carries between the units so it was helpful the we woke up early to hike most days.

Stayed Sep 15, 2025This was a great location and a cute place! Bed was very comfortable and the towels were nice and soft. Unfortunately the parking was not great…we were given strict instructions about our parking spot that we were alotted. Upon arrival, someone was in it. We were told to “just park anywhere” in the subway lot, but once there was no spots and there were also towing signs everywhere. This happened daily. The parking of the vehicles in our spot was never enforced.

Stayed Jun 6, 2025You won't get a better location if you're visiting Zion National Park. It's literally 50 yards from the visiting center. The place was nice for the most part. The bunk bed was wobbly so nobody slept on the top bunk. Also the bunk beds did not have bed sheets on them when we checked in so had to put the clean sheets on ourselves.I called the host about the wobbly bunk bed but he didn't seem very helpful and was out of town. Overall, the location makes it very worthwhile to stay at but just wish a few things would have been better.

Stayed Jun 9, 2025The location is literally right across the street from the visitor center parking lot. No one else is closer. Though a bit cramped for a family of five, we loved how close it was as a springboard for adventures in the park. It was great having a parking space (15 minute drive (at 4:30am) to the Canyon Overlook trail). The place was clean and as advertised. The smell of Subway sandwiches is always lingering in the air.

Stayed May 18, 2025Location of this property is amazing! So close to the Zion park entrance, Being above the Subway restaurant caused no issues for us. Our family of 4 adults had plenty of room for our 2 night stay. The upper bunk may not provide a whole lot of clearance for an adult; our 24 yr old son chose to sleep on the couch instead, but it was not a problem. Would stay here again. The location is fantastic!

Stayed Apr 25, 2025This trip was a college graduation present for my youngest. IMO, you can’t beat this location. It is located above the Subway and Slice of Zion but it is walking distance to main gate, Zion Outfitters, a brewery, many restaurants, and a market. Sometimes my group likes to split up so being walking distance to our home base is a big plus - everyone can do what they want to do without inconveniencing the whole group. The room was just as the pictures indicate. The only thing that I could complain about is that we had to put sheets on the bunk beds once we got there. But that is so minor. It was a wonderful trip and this place was absolutely perfect for us!

Stayed Oct 20, 2024You wouldn't think this was a good spot since its right behind a Subway but it's amazing. The location is perfect - steps from Zion outfitters (for gear rental) and the entrance of Zion National Park. No need to take any other shuttles other than the one in Zion Park itself. The unit was much nicer than we expected based off of the photos. There is full laundry with detergent and dryer sheets. There is a full kitchen and fridge. The bathroom is updated and has shampoo and conditioner (large bottles to last your stay). You get a parking spot to use during your stay. You won't need to use your car the entire time since you just need to walk across the street to get into Zion Park. There is a super cute coffee place a block away that opens at 630am. There is a slight smell when you walk into the common area of the building from the subway but you don't smell it once you get into the unit. We enjoyed and recommend!

Stayed Oct 14, 2024This property is literally less than a 5-minute walk to the entrance of Zion National Park. It's across the street from Zion Village where there are places to eat and shop. You can also walk down the street for additional options. The convenience of this location cannot be overstated. The property itself was clean, well-stocked, and had plenty of space. The property is above a Subway/Pizza restaurant. In the hallway, you could smell the food from below, but it was not noticeable in the unit. Additionally, we did not hear any noise from below. We would stay here again if in the area!

Stayed Oct 6, 2024The location is perfect! It’s a 5 minute walk to Zion shuttles and 10 minute walk to many restaurants in Springdale. The kitchen had everything we needed for making breakfast including plenty of coffee pods. Extra towels were a bonus. The only downside is the noise from Subway at closing time 9-10pm. Bring your earplugs. Otherwise a great stay.

Stayed Sep 16, 2024We booked this property for its location. It is right outside Zion National Park. It was easy for us to walk right into the park and there are shops, restaurants and convenience stores close by. We had our own parking spot and did not have to worry about getting a parking spot at the park or in town (because those fill up) which was lovely. We did a big hike each morning and came back to rest for a bit before going back out. The apartment had everything we needed to cook meals, sleep, watch tv, get on Wi-Fi, shower, etc.

Stayed Jul 19, 2024Our annual girls trip took us to Zion this year. We loved the location of this property, as it was just a short walk to the gates of Zion National Park. The property was very clean, had everything we needed, and allowed our group of 6 to spend more quality time hiking and out of the car, due to the close proximity to the park and local shops. Our group highly recommends this property!
