The old house has a lovely atmosphere, surrounded by fields and with sea view and beautiful sunsets. It’s a short drive from beaches, restaurants and supermarkets. The hosts were very kind and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful old house in a lovely location with easy access to both sides of the island. The pictures don't do the house justice, it was much larger than we expected with high ceilings and tall windows, all of the latter with beautiful views. Peter was very welcoming and the language barrier wasn't too much of a problem (we don't speak german or portugese).

It was a great home, Peter was a lovely host, and the location is very convenient.

Thank you a lot to Peter Otte for all you have prepared and helped for our felt-home-and-special since the very first day-stay in this beautiful house with the fascinating garden, gigantic views on the seaside and with beautifully arranged and curated flowers, plants &even a rooster and 2 hens!!! Our little one loved these, as well as the garden and kitchen play possibilities and Mr. Otte‘s kindness as well as we did! And the house, already being decades old (and worked on) and displaying that with nice collections of pictures and old, beautiful furniture e.g with whales‘ tails on these have also made our stay so special and that we want to definitely return exactly to this place where we often didn’t want to go away before 10:30 a.m. as we felt truly well! Also having breakfast and dinner in the garden at a wooden table was a great pleasure, and being told by Peter Otte e.g. what the history and infrastructure of the house and surroundings was in former times and getting recommendations from him where to eat super good sea food! Hoping to come back even next year, dear Mr. Otte we say thank you very very much, again!

best rental house ever. the house is much better than it looks in the photos. we were 4 friends (architects) and we had the entire first floor of the house, three huge bedrooms with ocean views, a terrace and a beautiful kitchen. the garden is wonderful, it consists of several rooms outdoors with fantastic trees. we grilled fish in the garden (peter gave us a perfect barbecue). Peter is a marvelous person, available and polyglot (more or less), he is really nice and friendly. it was an unforgettable stay, we will definitely be back. Thanks Peter.

Spectacular

We had a wonderful experience staying at Peters villa. It’s a beautiful home,with views of the Atlantic from bedroom windows, everything thing you need, we stayed for 9 days, not far from any of the beautiful sites on the island, and Peter was very hospitable, we would definitely stay here again.
