Amazing mountain & ocean VIEWS in exclusive Eagle River neighborhood apartment!

This is a spacious, well equipped, comfortable lower level apartment with large windows and great light in Eagle River about 20 minutes north of Anchorage. It's close to the Eagle River Nature Center and trails, the abandon Independence Mine site, and Barbara Falls (South Fork Falls) trail head that a local at Jitters Coffee shop told us about. Highly recommend.

Cynthia is a wonderful host; very responsive, and had toiletries and snacks available for us. She al provides a welcome pdf with lots of helpful information. The unit is decorated nicely and very comfortable. There were several towels, blankets and pillows available for our use… the unit also has a great view and it is nice and quiet… we definitely recommend staying here.

This was an excellent property to stay at! The host was easy to contact and was very quick with any questions we had while staying there. The property was in an excellent location with easy access to anything you needed in Eagle River and only a short 15 minute drive to get to Anchorage if you wanted too, yet it was tucked back just far enough to feel like you were away from everything. We had an excellent time and it was money well spent! Thank you Cynthia for an amazing place!!

Very clean, quiet, cozy, & private. The view is amazing. The location is easy to navigate & convenient. The owners have provided everything possible to make it feel like “home”.

This was our wonderful home for 2 weeks. Everything was provided: lots of cozy blankets, heaters in every room, snack assortment in kitchen to welcome you, large closets and dressers, comfortable beds and linens. A basket in the bathroom held everything you might need. And Jitters, the best coffee shop, is less than 5 min away. We will be back for sure!

The place was super clean and in a great location! We had everything we needed, provided. Definitely would stay again when we return!

The apartment is absolutely perfect! It was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and the beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable. When we arrived, the fireplace was already on, making the house feel so cozy and welcoming — such a thoughtful touch! The owners have truly thought of every little detail to make guests feel right at home. From the warm, inviting atmosphere to the well-stocked amenities, and beautiful views, everything exceeded our expectations.This place should be the gold standard for vacation rentals — we can’t recommend it highly enough and can’t wait to come back!

This property should be the standard for all VRBOs. The property had everything and anything one could possibly need for the perfect vacation. Located only 20 minutes from downtown Anchorage. Communication between myself and the host was immediate and productive. Our visit to Alaska was awesome and a large part of it was this VRBO. Highly recommended!!

We truely enjoyed our stay. Nice to be out of the city. Beautiful view and a beautifully decorated space. Enjoyed the many flowers.

It's called an apartment but it feels like a home.Wonderful and comfortable decor and beautiful artwork in every room. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances and snacks.We arrived after midnight and it was great to have breakfast bars and coffee before having to go out for other neccessities. A perfect location for traveling north or south for adventures. Lovely views and beautiful landscapes great you everyday. We loved our stay here and will recommend it to everyone we know. Cynthia was friendly and approachable with any request.

Very nice place. Great views as shown in the pictures. Gas fireplace was a nice warming piece. Washer / dryer an important feature for us. There was good communication from the owners particularly when we had a problem with the internet. The network they wanted us to use went down on day two and never came back. They were kind enough to let us use a secondary network but things moved a bit more slowly (accessing websites needed to use for school).On the downside, the one bathroom had a shower head which was suited more for shorter people - less than 5'6 I would estimate. At 5'10, I had to bend down to wash my hair so that was annoying. Also, as this is a lower floor unit, we heard a fair amount of creaking and footsteps along with conversations from the upstairs unit. It did wake us up one night and could be heard most mornings and evenings, though not too early or too late.Parking was good for our one vehicle. Might be a tight squeeze for two larger vehicle (i.e. Toyota 4-Runner). The location was very nice located up a hill and pretty convenient to the main road in town.Again, a nice place - very clean and full of great amenities but due to the aforementioned items, they're the reasons why this is being rated at 4 stars.

Immaculate describes this apartment best! I think quite frankly the most well thought out VRBO I’ve ever stayed in. Cynthia’s apartment was spotlessly clean, beautiful furnishings, beds very comfortable, kitchen well stocked down to even having snacks for guests. Communication couldn’t have been better, my daughter that lives in Eagle River wanted to rent the apartment full time!! We will definitely be back for our next visit to Eagle River!

Place was even better than expecting. Exceptionally clean, contact with owner very easy. The bed and sheets were so soft and nice to get into after a long day. Kitchen stocked with lots of amenities and even a goody cookie jar with snacks. View is awesome on clear days!!!

We were incredibly comfortable. Access was perfect, and the area felt safe and clean. We would definitely do this again!

This property is one of the nicest and well managed VRBO we have stayed at. Great attention to detail, inside and out, great communication and instructions too. It’s like they wrote the manual on what a VRBO should be and how it should be run.

This was a great place to stay. Extremely clean, well taken care of and had a lot of things there for use to make the stay comfortable. We loved it. Only recommendation is not not allow very late check in. The last night the people above arrived around 3a and it was extremely loud with their luggage and then walking around. This had us awake from about 3 to 5 but this was not the property owners issue but people with no respect on how to be decently quiet for the people downstairs.

Very well equipped and graciously stocked with everything you need! It is exactly as advertised!!

Saw moose in the back yard. Owner was receptive to suggestions to improve use of view. the table added so much more viewing time while dining. Only other suggestion would be a mirror someplace other than bathroom to help second person get ready while 1st in shower.

We stayed 3 nights while visiting family in Eagle River. Just what we needed! Very well stocked, beautiful views, comfy beds.

I wish I could give you more than 5 stars. The apartment was amazing. Great location. Central to everything we wanted to do and see. So nice to walk in after a long flight to find snacks waiting for us. You went above and beyond our expectations. See you next year.

We enjoyed out time in Eagle River. It was perfect for our short stay. Not too far from the airport and a lot of great places to hike and eat!
