Stayed Dec 8, 2022Great location in reference to Crashboat beach (beautiful beach) and easy drives to restaurants, stores, other towns and their beaches/sights. The neighborhood may look sketchy at first but we felt totally safe at all times. Short walk to Crashboat beach includes a long incline of steps so make sure you’re able to do steps, otherwise quick drive there. Young neighbors drove and us, in our 60s, walked! LOL. There’s an open air restaurant, bar, and some smaller food truck versions on the beach, and chair/umbrella rentals as well. The apt was spotless, well equipped (beach towels and great beach cooler included), up to date tranquil decor, quiet and very safe/gated grounds! A/C in bedroom but ceiling fans seemed to do the job in December. Apt has back door in bedroom lined up with front door in living room for great cross ventilation! It was perfect for us and we will definitely book again since we love the island’s west side.
