Stayed Sep 14, 2018The Luna apartment we stayed in was comfy, neat, and quiet, done up in a rustic surfer style, using wooden pallets for some of the furniture. The property lies very near to the Aguadilla airport, but we only noticed 3 airplanes in as many nights. The property has a fairly big lot, enclosed by cyclone fence, the front a 6-foot solid wall, and plenty of trees and shade, with the owner's house and a number of equally colorful, smaller buildings (the guest rooms) contained within. Very charming! It has a country vibe, yet it's only about 5 minutes to Carretera #2, the main road in the West of PR. The owner, Fabio, was affable, friendly and responsive to our requests; we unfortunately did not interact as much as we would have liked, as we had a busy schedule, and left early in the morning and returned exhausted late at night. But we'd certainly love to return and stay again for a real vacation! Of note: there were power outages both on Friday pre-dawn and on Saturday night; obviously not the property owner's fault, but be aware that the PR power grid is weak, and that there's no backup generator. The shower stall is fairly small, guests of larger girths may find it difficult to use. There's a very small fridge inside the room, perfect for beers, but not for any but a very modest visit to the grocery store. There's an adjacent outdoor kitchen, we did not get the chance to try it out. Overall great experience, recommend, looking forward to visiting again!

Stayed Aug 8, 2018Definetly what I was looking for, away from most tourist and living like the locals. The best beach for my taste 10 minutes away, Crash Boat Beach. The property is beautiful, I even prepared a ceviche to take to the beach and enjoy. My puppy had a great time paddle boarding and I can't wait to get back. Checking out tomorrow morning!

Stayed Dec 1, 2025The place was hard to find. We reached out to the host for a more exact location since neither Google Maps or maps was coming up with it. Once we finally found it that’s when the host messaged us. Then he came out of his house and told us we were in luck because this listing is old and should’ve been taken down by Vrbo since it’s no longer available but he had another place for us to stay. This was particularly annoying because we booked this place months in advance so he could have reached out to let us know but instead he put us up in a little shack. At first, it seemed clean and we had just had a long traveling day so we decided to stay. We asked for extra sheets since the bed only had one and none on the “second bed” (which was tiny and only my legs fit on btw). He said he would bring them over and never did. The shack didn’t have a washer or a dryer either. Then, by the next day, we saw roaches in the kitchen and bathroom. Under my “bed” there was a few dead ones as well. We ended up leaving early and checking into a hotel. This place was a total disappointment and quite a scam.

Stayed Jul 1, 2025Very clean and spacious. The location allowed us to hear all the sounds of PR. We were able to fall asleep to the sound of the coqui, hear and see horses, cows, lizards and iguanas. The property is well kept. 10/10 would recommend. Also, it’s very close to the airport, amazing beaches, mall and many local restaurants.

Stayed Jun 22, 2025Omg! The pics and description on Verbo is exactly what we got. Our plane was delayed and even though we got in at 4:30 in the morning our host was there to greet us and welcome us. We felt like we were staying with friends. Cannot recommend this place enough!! Wonderful! Warm! And in the middle of all that is Aguadilla.

Stayed Apr 3, 2025Perfect little hideaway on the West side!It was our frist time in PR and we loved the space! It was clean and our host was attentive and responsive to messages during our stay. Like other guests have stated in reviews, the pin for the address isnt quite accurate, you have to drive further down the street to get there but the property name is on the fence outside and visible at night! We can't wait to come back to PR and stay again!

Stayed Feb 7, 2025We had a wonderful stay at il Sognatore in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico! The property was private and absolutely charming, offering a peaceful retreat that felt like a hidden gem. The space was cozy, well-kept, and had everything we needed to enjoy our trip. The only hiccup was with the Gps, it was a bit tricky to find when we first arrived—some extra directions or a clearer landmark would’ve helped—but once we settled in, it was pure bliss. The host was lovely, and the location gave us that perfect mix of seclusion and access to Aguadilla’s beauty. We’re looking forward to returning soon!
