Stayed Jan 13, 2025My wife and I had purchased a condo in a new building almost a year ago, with delivery scheduled (and on-time) for mid-January 2025. We knew our new condo came only with basic appliances and no furniture, and we needed a place nearby while we got organized and set up. I found the listing for Casita Mariposa Azul, and it seemed like the perfect place for us to start our new adventure. As it turned out, It was better than perfect!We exchanged messages with the owners just before our stay, and explained our situation. They were friendly, extremely helpful, and gave us lots of great advice as we went along.The suite was very clean and extremely well organized. Much thought had been given to the amenities provided, and there we no surprises and nothing that was overlooked by the hosts.The listing mentioned that there is a busier road nearby, but the sound machine provided by the hosts works very well in offsetting the noise.The unit is located beside a well kept pedestrian square, about a minute walk to the beach and a short walk to Centro. The nearby beach is very nice with good sand, and we saw whales (and a calf) every day in the water.The area is very safe and well lit, we never felt uncomfortable walking to/from the building at any time.We highly recommend this property to anyone coming to the Bucerias area.
