Acropolis luxurious designed apartment

Airport (taxi) arrangement was convenient. Great location, neat to look up at the acropolis at night!

The apartment is in a great location! The pictures look great, but the apartment itself is a little run down comparing to the pictures. We had a problem with the transportation offered. We were offered transportation from the airport to the hotel. Before accepting, we mentioned that we had 4 large suitcases, and we were received the following message: “My driver has a station wagon that can fit up to 6 large suitcases.” When we saw the car (not a wagon as promised), we knew it wouldn’t fit. My wife said that we were going to get another car, he affirmed he would make it fit, and we had an obligation with him. We totally disagreed because we had an obligation with a wagon driver. He didn’t have a sharp English, so we decided to not argue. The driver complained several times about the luggage which is definitely not his business. Then, when he dropped us off, he mandated to receive 10 Euros for the baggage. We told him it was agreed with you about the luggage, car size and payment of 45 Euros. Then, we brought up the situation to the apartment owner, and the driver said we had more luggage which was untrue (he counted my daughter and wife’s handbags as a luggage). The owner said she would get back to us, and never heard from her. When we left the apartment, we got a wagon to the cruise port which fits everything. We are mentioned it because the situation made us really uncomfortable. We don’t appreciate dishonest and incorrect people!

This is an excellent place to stay because it gives the vibe of being both a tourist and a local. My family and I were able to visit all of the historic sites by walking and also got to see how the locals spent their time around the neighborhood. The apartment was well kept, but the it looked smaller in person than what the pictures made it look to be. The owner had many household products like a washing machine, detergent, mops, iron, plates, utensils, pans, and pots.

We stayed in this apartment for one week the first week of October. Our experience was a mix of very good and things that need improving. First the good:- Great location near Acropolis, Metro, Tram, markets & restaurants- Safe neighborhood & good security- Nice balcony with peek view of Acropolis- Owner’s rep, Spyros, was great. Picked us up at airport (45E) and showed all features of apartment.Now for the things that need improving:- Cookware is random. Only one wine glass. Only one little ice cube tray that made tiny fish shaped cubes.- Non-stick frying pan totally scratched up and flaking. Plastic in your food?- Solar hot water system plus electric heater didn’t work for us. Showers were cold in the morning and only warm in afternoon.- Clothes washer detergent drawer was filthy and clogged. I cleaned before using.- Interior design is quirky. We kept banging our legs into odd non-functional boxes built around the bed and sofas. Difficult to get in and out of bed on one side.- Strong smell of cleaners and fabric softener. Not good for allergies.- No microwave.- Small non-smart TV. Only Greek cable stations and only one English channel. No streaming or casting.Note that we had a great time in Athens and the apartment was super convenient for our adventures. The beds were firm and very comfortable. Hopefully the owner fixes the things we noticed. A thorough refresh would be nice for future guests.

Great location. Check in process was amazing. Bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. Some mold on the blinds next to the shower from water spray everywhere.

Location was perfect for exploring the big sights of Athens. Having good coffee available for guests made for an excellent start to each day. Many restaurant choices in the safe feeling neighbourhood. There was an issue with a broken faucet in the shower that wasn't addressed during our stay. However, communication with the owner was consistently prompt and clear.

Our host Efi was fantastic and all communication was ‘spot on’. The apartment was even better than expected and the location was perfect. We would expect to stay again in 2026 and have already recommended it to friends.

Beautiful and as described - Efi was very quick to respond to any issues and also offered add-on airport transfer service which was extremely helpful! As noted in the photos and bed is quite low and there's no railing around the tub, so if you have mobility issues I would take those items into consideration. AC working great in July, excellent location to be near all the popular spots in Athens!

This apartment is in the most amazing location!So close to the Acropolis but also walkable to all the main areas of Athens.Many restaurants nearby and a grocery store around the corner.Efi and Spiros were always easily accessible and arranged for our transportation to and from the airport.Communication was excellent.Check-in was easy.The neighbourhood felt very safe.For those with mobility issues, there is a life to the 3rd floor apartment so no worries there.Overall, this was a great stay in a perfect part of the city to explore all of Athen's charm and history!

Property delivers as advertised- for longer stays very convenient to have clothes washer, cooking appliances(did not use) and generous sized refrigerator Very comfortable for couple. Large bathroom with wand shower with abundance of counter space Bedroom with queen size bed (160x210). Bed is low to ground which can challenge for people with mobility issues. Adequate closet space drawers and hangers.Living room have large linear couch that could sleep 1-2 Apartment and building security goodEfi (host) is very communicative and responsive as needed. WhatsApp easiest. Check in and check out a breeze. Location close to transit and easy to book taxi via Uber. Like rest of Athens on street and off street parking a definite challenge

Great apartment and superb location. Everything we needed and more. Shower a bit interesting but certainly not enough to be considered an issue. Many fantastic restaurants and bars in neighborhood to enjoy! Simple 10 minute walk to Plaka! Thank you Efi!!

The property was spacious and within walking distance to the sights, squares, and markets of Athens. Great food and groceries within a very short walk. Would love to return!

It was an absolute pleasure working with the host of this apartment. She was responsive to all questions, and even helped find drivers for us from the port to the apartment, and then to the airport. The locThe Acropolis is in one direction, and the hill can be seen from the apartment. And the Plaka is in the other direction so you have excellent restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. The apartment itself is lovely--very clean and contemporary with all the modern conveniences we needed.

Place was comfortable. It is a little weathered, but met our needs. The location was great. Close to restaurants. Nice small balcony with a partial view of the Acropolis.

Efi was an amazing host. The location was perfect for everything we wanted to see - the Olympic stadium, Acropolis, great rooftop bars, delicious restaurants, shopping. I cannot wait until we return. Efi also booked us a transfer with Spiros, who was fabulous too and gave amazing recommendations. I cannot wait to return to Athens!

The apartment is close to the Acropolis and in a neighborhood full of good restaurants and shops. Very comfortable to stay in. It was very hot so we used the a/c and the room was very quiet.

The apartment poorly kept. Sheets and towels didn't look clean. there were broken electrical outlets , stained couch and dirty walls. Location was solid and price was decent. However it didn't look like the picture. The owner did set us up with a real good and reliable driver .

The location of the property was perfect. Walking distance to most everything. The beds were comfortable. The elevator is a bit different...but that has nothing to do with you and your property. We enjoyed our 4 nights in Athens. The acropolis and other similar sites were amazing and we loved Plaka. We rented a car and went to Corinth. It was a great and tiring end to our cruise vaction

What an awesome location! Just steps from the Plaka District with a view of the Acropolis from the patio, yet just far enough from the tourist rat trap areas with a great local feel. The washing machine was a god save especially since we were there in the blistering summer. The host was very communicative and responsive. We would recommend you book travel to the flat through him as the taxi driver walked us up to the flat to explain the hidden details to us. Would have given this 5 stars if not for the very firm and admittedly uncomfortable bed. We found some great local restaurants that are a must for price, taste, and proximity to the flat. Kalamaki Bar, Drakou 15, Athina 117 42, Greece. Ridiculous prices for the serving sizes. Hands down the best skewers for the price! Skoumbri, Drakou 14, Athina 117 42, Greece. Everything is delicious but our favs were the marinated anchovies, grilled sardines, and the fried smelt! Guarantee, Veikou 41, Athina 117 42, Greece. We call this place the sandwich Guy. Hands down the best sandwiches ever and for only 4-6 euros! And it’s right across the street from the flat.
