This beautiful property is indeed a rare gem. My husband, adult daughter and I spent four wonderful days and nights in Grindelwald earlier this month, and Attico was the perfect place to recharge. Clean and in excellent condition, our knowledgeable and accessible host ensured the unit was well-appointed: we started on laundry immediately upon check-in, most welcome after nine days of travel. Bedrooms were luxurious and comfortable, the bathrooms sleek and modern, and there were more than enough towels and throw blankets for our use. The kitchen was stocked with every item a guest would expect and more. Our host also supplied dozens of insider tips to help us navigate the area. And while Attico is situated on a hill above the main street of the village, it was quiet enough that we slept with the windows wide open each night to enjoy the cool, fresh mountain air. And speaking of mountains...the main balcony frames mighty Eiger like a picture postcard. It was the perfect backdrop for our morning coffee and our nightcaps. We walked everywhere, restaurants are literally minutes away, as is the train station. Grindelwald is a short train ride/hike/or gondola away from charming villages where flowers spill from window boxes and cows graze peacefully in the lush, green slopes above. There are so many well-maintained hiking trails it would take years to explore them all. Switzerland is heaven on Earth. We can't wait to return.

Fantastic apartment!

Every last detail was considered in the Attico apartment to make you feel like home (every imaginable kitchen utensil or tool!) as well as being totally pampered (the most luxurious bedding and lighting and seating on every balcony). Don’t wait - book here!

The apartment in Grindelwald was very spacious, beautiful, and had amazing views. We were there when it was 87 degrees and so having 5 g doors to open to allow the cooler evening air in was a game changer. If traveling in summer, the more doors you can open the better!!! Also had 3 fans and laundry detergent, soap and shampoo which was appreciated!! The owner responded quickly with answers to all questions. The balcony with the rockers were our favorite!!! Do note that the climb to the apartment is no joke but we would still absolutely recommend this apartment!!!!

Everything was as described about the property. Easy check in and check out process. Great location near stores, restaurants and train station. Stunning views!! Very comfortable and well stocked. Perfect for six adults! We had a fantastic time and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

We stayed at Attico during the first week of January on our ski trip to Grindelwald. The property was beautiful, well located, and exactly as described in the listing. Communication with the property manager was always prompt and helpful. Highly recommend.

We spent hours on the balcony enjoying the mountain view. This home has every comfort. Very spacious for our family of four adults. Love the wood and granite finishes and comfortable beds. Kitchen is fully equipped. We hope to return someday!

Our stay in Grindelwald was delightfu. The hiking was excellent. The apartment was gorgeous! It was very well appointed and very comfortable. We highly recommend for other families.

I can’t say enough about how perfect this house was! So convenient to town, very comfortable for our family of 6 (4 teenagers!). Beautiful house and the views from the balcony are fantastic. Could not have had a better stay in Grindelwald. We loved the town and our stay at the house more than we ever imagined!! If able to come again we would stay here no matter what!!
