The bright and stylishly furnished 2-room flat is located in a historic house dating from the 16th century. A baroque spiral staircase leads to the quiet apartment on the first floor. The charm of its late Gothic structures is skillfully integrated with the modern household items and the technical installations, ensuring that today‘s amenities and modern facilities are not sacrificed. The bright living room, clad with a 17th century panelling, overlooks the alleyway and invites you to linger. It is comfortably furnished with an armchair, a sofa and a desk. The quiet bedroom facing the inner courtyard is appointed with a comfortable double bed. The small bathroom with shower adds to the high quality of the apartment. The kitchen is partly decorated with furniture from the 1920s and it skillfully completes the flat. It meets modern standards and is equipped with a dishwasher, a ceramic hob, an oven and a coffee machine. A recently discovered sandstone wall from
the 13th century will lead your mind to wander through time.

A charming, historic apartment in the heart of Bern's old town. The location was ideal, just a few minutes walk from the tram and local attractions like the Berner Münster and the Zytglogge. The hosts have provided useful information about local sights, shopping and dining.The apartment itself was spotlessly clean, with comfortable livingroom and fully equipped kitchen. The restoration of this historic building has been done with care to showcase its history, which makes this apartment really special and unique. We especially appreciate how welcoming and supportive the hosts, Thomas and Eva, have been throughout our stay. Thank you for having us!
