Stayed Apr 19, 2024Great place to stay. Only issue was we weren't sure if the underfloor heating was working. The floor felt cold even after increasing the temperature on the thermostat. Location not suitable for people with mobility issues.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The apartment wasn't as clean as it could be, during the current climate it should not only be cleaned but deep cleaned, I would expect 'luxury' accommodation to be spotless. A few things need attention, the sofa was a bit tired looking and stained and the bathroom radiator hadn't been cleaned in a long while and is covered in rust. There was food splattered on the mirror and hallway door, dry ketchup on the placemats and some of the glasses still had lipstick on them. However, the apartment is in a great location, in a good complex and close to the beach and train station. It would have been nice to hear back from Cornwall Hideaways upon our return, as we have with previous companies in the area. There seems a disinterest from the company and lack of customer care; and only seem to get in touch when payments are due.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We have stayed in St Ives every year for 24 years but we decided to go to Carbis Bay this year because it is less busy and we could get a parking space so we could go out and explore. It is easy to walk to St Ives or get the train. 6 Sandy Lane is beautiful. I love the coffee machine (with lots of pods provided) and the washing machine/tumble dryer. I want a shower like theirs at home now! It has everything you need in the kitchen (even for baking cakes...scales, mixing bowls etc). There is a wooden coffee table with lots of beach toys inside and a wooden basket with Brio and books for little ones. Really thoughtful touches. Thank you for a fantastic week.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We loved our stay at Sandy Lane the location is perfect for Carbis Bay, St Ives and Hayle along with other areas of Cornwall. The Appartment was clean and comfortable with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable self catering holiday. The only negative from a location point of view is the climb to and from the beach via the footpath which is a good path with a short 10 minute journey but is quite challenging on the return journey. Negative from the Appartment, parking space is tight on the end spot and to add to this the Plants have been allowed to grow into the spot by a good 1.5ft further reducing the space to a point where you can only exit through one side of the car. Reported to service team on second to last day. Oven in need of attention as it has an annoying vibration which l suspect is the fan. All in all great location and apartment good standards and if the parking issue is kept on top of l would highly recommend.

Stayed Dec 31, 19696 Sandy Lane is an outstanding apartment.. it was spotlessly clean throughout and furnished to a very high standard.. A very well equipped kitchen, everything to enable you to cook in.. It is a 5 minute walk to the train station which has 2 trains going to St Ives every hour and only takes 3 minutes.. excellent service.. I would recommend this apartment 100% and we hope to return in the future.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We loved our return to these apartments. The decor is great and the kitchen so well equipped. We were not disappointed that the luxury feel was still there and in Covid we could eat in and enjoy the views. The apartments are in great positions for the train and walk to the beach. The only downside was that the outside area needed some attention , the high conifer hedge impeded our balcony view and we had to park on the road at times because other users had not parked considerately - we informed the company so no doubt they will sort it. We will be back when we can , great place.
