Stayed Jun 22, 2026We are repeat guests to this apartment. The layout and location are perfect for our purpose of visiting nearby colleges with our grandchildren. We are able to put the car in long term parking and easily take public transportation everywhere we wanted to go. The number of restaurants within walking distance made our mornings and evenings very convenient to organize. While we were not staying in the apartment in connection with a hospital/medical situation, I have been in a long-term hospital situation away from home. We really valued ease of transportation and finding food very locally as we spent hours at the hospital. We felt safe walking around the area around the apartment which is a comfort when coming back late in the evening.

Stayed May 28, 2026The apartment was nice. The bed was uncomfortable. The shower broke and water was leaking from the apartment of above, but other than that it was a nice place in the area.

Stayed May 6, 2026Great location and the apartment houses two adult couples very well. Perfectly safe area to walk around and enjoy both the natural and urban history. The host was easy to deal with both times we have stayed at this particular location.

Stayed Apr 7, 2026Our family had a wonderful time during our two-night stay. The apartment couldn’t have been in a better location—tucked away on a quiet side street where noise was never an issue. It’s within easy walking distance to the harbor, Hanover Street, the aquarium, and even Boston Common. The apartment was very clean and comfortable throughout our stay. While it could benefit from a few minor cosmetic updates, nothing stood out as concerning or detracted from our experience.Communication with the host was excellent, with quick and helpful responses. I would definitely stay here again and would happily recommend it to others. There are convenient parking options nearby, and for breakfast, North Street Grille just around the corner is a must—high-quality, delicious food!

Stayed Mar 12, 2026The host was very kind and responsive when we reached out. The property is in a great location and there was plenty of space. When we arrived, there was a receipt from home depot on the table. Upon walking into the master bedroom, we discovered that the curtain rods, blinds, and mounting hardware were scattered across the room on the dresser and window sill. We also noticed that the console table was pushed next to the bed. There was a coating of dust on all the surfaces. We were thrown off by the windows being exposed to the neighboring building. Our major issue for the stay occurred on Sunday night, when a man tried to unlock the door with a code and started yelling into the apartment. There was only a single woman in the apartment at the time, and hearing a stranger yell into the apartment at midnight was unsettling and unsafe. He then explained that there was a leak coming from one of the upper units, and he needed to come in immediately to check on it. As a woman, that did not feel safe, especially with little to no explanation of who was knocking and what the problem was. I went to check on the bathroom myself and noticed a small damp spot in the ceiling and the bath mat was wet. I shared this information with the man at the door, and he finally backed off about coming inside and went to talk to the upstairs units. The water was shut off for the rest of the stay until the last night. Overall there were some major issues with the stay, but the host was responsive.
