55th-Floor 3BR Duplex Penthouse Lake & City Views

Our family of 5 want to spend 4 days exploring Chicago and the Penthouses at the Grand Plaza was an amazing home base for us to explore the city. The host provided clear instructions early and often to make sure we were prepared for seamless check in and check out experience. The views from the apartment were second to none. We would definitely stay again next time we come back to Chicago.

Shops nearby, anything you would want to eat is in walking distance, subway close for easy access. Everything as advertise except the view is way better than advertised. Breathtaking

Great communication from the host and the place looks exactly like the picture! We enjoyed being right in the middle of the action with close walks to so many things in the city.

We stayed here for New Years Eve and had the best time. Close proximity- walking distance to Mag mile, river walk and all the great restaurants. So convenient with the grocery store down stairs. And the best part was the views of the city and the lake! So gorgeous. Would absolutely stay again.

Beautiful views and nice space to entertain in. The community benefits were also a bonus (billiards table, pool, dog park, gym)

Incredible view from this amazing penthouse. We stayed here with family for a wedding and couldn't have been happier. This location was fabulous for our group and we walked everywhere. Restaurants, places to go, it was all right there. If you are staying there and it is going to be a hot day, just put the blinds down at night so the sun doesn't heat it up in the morning and you are good to go. Truly, everything was fabulous.

We loved our stay in Chicago! The grocery store near the entrance of the building had everything we needed. Also there were plenty of great restaurants nearby to eat at. The view was stunning during the day but breathtaking at night. Definitely worth every penny!

Location was perfect for 4 high school girlfriends annual get together. We loved the fireplace in the 2-story living room as it was very cold the week-end we were there. We had a blast.

The best thing about this place is very clearly the view, which matches/surpasses the images in the pictures. But it's also a very comfortable place to stay (good beds, comfy chairs/sofas). Yes, some things are a little worn - surely by former guests! But everything functioned well. As others have noted, you do hear city noise especially ambulances. The master bedroom has an exit door into the hallway and you can hear noise there as well, but it's infrequent as there aren't too many units per floor.Good location, friendly door-persons, so nice to have the grocery store downstairs. All in all, I would definitely stay here again!

This place is incredible. I wish we could stay forever. The view never gets old, and it looks even better at night.

We stayed 5 days beginning Christmas Day and it was one of the most memorable vacations we’ve taken as a family. Our hosts were perfect in that they were always quick to respond (1-2 minutes), but everything was so well planned that we never really needed anything. The patio balcony is HUGE and you can see everything from 55 stories. Great views of the lake. Easy access to all of downtown via Uber or a short walk. We can’t say enough about this apartment, and we’d love to stay there again.

Great penthouse with wonderful views of great Chicago architecture and the lake. I would stay again. Only minor issue was sleeping was more difficult than back home in small town Ohio. There were a lot of sirens etc. One bedroom also had a window open to the living room with all of its ambient light. Of course this issue is somewhat expected but I have not noticed noise as much staying at Chicago hotels. Still give it 5 stars

Five of us stayed in the penthouse for a long Thanksgiving weekend. The property has beautiful views, is in good condition, and was well stocked (kitchen well stocked, bathrooms well stocked; nice sheets and towels, etc). The owners communicated well pre and post stay, the doorman quickly gave us the keys at check-in. The property is centrally located with lots working walking distance. The gym on the 9th floor is big and modern.

A good option compared to managing several hotel rooms over several days with multiple occupants.

We had an amazing long weekend in Chicago! This place is amazing and we could not get over the views! The home was very clean and equipped with everything we needed. We would stay here again! Close to everything and lots within walking distance.

Our family could not be happier with our stay at the Penthouse. Great location, Jewel next store is super convenient, and the unit/view is awesome. The owners are super attentive and helpful in making sure guests know their way getting in and around the building. I will be seeking out their smaller units in the future as well!

The view is spectacular. There are plenty of other great features about this condo - unbeatable location, great doormen and women, clean, well appointed common spaces, bedrooms and bathrooms, and a wonderful gas fireplace. We had a terrific time and only wish we could have stayed longer (maybe forever!)
