Stayed Nov 23, 2023The apartment was very clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay (and more). The hosts were wonderful people and answered my (few) questions quickly. The area was close to a lot of dining (though we had a full kitchen with most to all amenities we needed) and shopping options. Unfortunately I can not comment on beach access due to the dates of our visit; however we will definitely look into rebooking this property on our future visits to the area. Truly impressive with all the comforts and amenities of being home while traveling.

Stayed Jul 13, 2025This is an absolutely lovely place to stay! The apartment is beautifully decorated and our host had it filled with everything we might possibly need! It's only 5 miles to Emerald Isle located in a beautiful neighborhood...quiet and peaceful. Communication with Pat was great. I can't say enough wonderful things about this home away from home. Highly recommended!! We will be back!

Stayed Jul 11, 2024We had the best time at 5 Miles to the beach! The location is perfect. Close to all the action but on the out skirts so it’s quiet and private. The apartment was VERY clean and well stocked. We had plenty of room for our kids to play and have their own space. Pat pays attentions to all the details and had everything we could need. We are already planning our next trip back!

Stayed Aug 5, 2023We have been to Emerald Isle 5 times. Normally we stay in a hotel. This was the best thus far. If you are looking for a quiet, cozy, and convenient place to stay this is it. Nice that it is so close to the island. We’ll definitely be staying again soon. Thank Patrica and John for our best vacation yet.

Stayed Jul 2, 2023Absolutely thrilled with my experience. The place was clean and extremely comfortable. I forgot to bring the bathroom trash out - so that's on me. Patti was extremely welcoming and it's a wonderful neighborhood close to all I required. Will definitely do it again. 3
