Centrally located in Aldeburgh, 4 Market Cross House is a very spacious holiday apartment, offering groups of four a wonderful holiday or short break at any time of the year.

4 Market Cross House is positioned on the 2nd and 3rd floors of this beautiful period building. The rooms are all well proportioned with high ceilings and large sash windows.

Kitchen / Dining Room
A fabulously large room with a fully equipped family kitchen and central farmhouse table with 6 chairs. Thekitchen appliances include a 5 ring gas hob over a double electric oven, an American style fridge freezer, A microwave, an integrated washer/dryer, and a Nespresso coffee maker (please bring pods). The cupboards are filled with all the crockery, cutlery pots/pans but with space left for your food and beverages.

Living Room
Along the hall is the impressive living room with two sash windows overlooking Wentworth Road and the grounds of Wyndom House. There's plenty of space to relax on the leather 3 piece suite and watch the huge LG smart TV. For further atmosphere the room has an electric flame effect fire place.

King Bedroom
Above the living room on the third floor of Market Cross House is the king bedroom, again with huge windows and high ceilings. There's plenty of room for clothes and shoes in the pine wardrobe and chest of drawers. There's also a very attractive dressing table with mirror.

Family Bathroom
Next to the king bedroom is a family bathroom with victorian style white suite. The bath has a shower over and glass shower screen.

Twin Bedroom
Along the hall is the twin bedroom with two standard size single beds. The room features a hanging rail and chest of drawers for belongings.

Ensuite Bathroom
Off the twin bedroom is an ensuite bathroom similar in size and style to the family bathroom.

Outside
The courtyard space outside the main entrance door is unfortunately not for use by guests. The beach is only a few yards away around the corner and there are lots of pubs and cafes with outside seating for alfresco drinks and dining.
There is no allocated parking however free parking is available on side streets and is usually readily available.

4 Market Cross House is not pet friendly. There is no allocated parking but parking is available on local side streets.

This apartment is in the centre of Aldeburgh but quiet, and it was clean with easy access. There was a problem with the hot water (too hot and not possible to cool it) but the letting agency was efficient and a plumber came out after a couple of days and fixed the problem. It was rather cold when we were there and there were no extra blankets - that would be a great addition. The windows in the front bedroom are rather old and rattle a lot on the wind which woke me several times - in fact there were quite a few strange noises which we couldn't track down. But it is an old property and has great character.

Fabulous and spacious apartment 2 minutes walk from the beach. Good base to explore the local area but lovely beach in Aldeburgh too. Minsmere RSPB well worth a visit. Had a lovely lunch in the Dolphin pub in Thorpeness. Thoroughly recommend the property and the area.
