My husband's family and I rented this apartment for two weeks in May/June of 2016 during our stay in Brazil for my brother in laws wedding. We had 6 adults and one baby and felt comfortable for the most part. Spectacular views and short walk to the beach! Owner was very kind and very good with communicating before hand. One thing that might surprise Americans traveling here but is very common is that there no screens on the windows. Beautiful ocean breezes come in most of the time and keep things cool and keep bugs away. However at night we ran the small individual ac units and closed the windows. Like I said open windows (and doors) are very common we soon realized. Just a cultural difference. Would return and would recommend if we every came back to the area.
