Stayed Oct 11, 2024We were in town visiting our daughter who attends Catholic University. The location of this rental cannot be beat! It’s in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood with a short 5-6 minute walk to the DuPont Circle Metro Station. We enjoyed the full kitchen and made a few of our meals “in.” We will definitely be back!

Stayed Jul 29, 2022No frills, solid property. Nicely decorated basement unit with well-stocked kitchen and W/D. Unit is close to DuPont Metro red line and about a 15 min. walk to Foggy Bottom blue line.

Stayed Apr 7, 2022We had no way to know that unit B was in the basement. The unit was well worn. The unit could definitely use an update. To get to the unit, you had to go into an alcove where the garbage bins are kept. The neighborhood was beautiful. No complaints there Supplies provided were adequate at best. Advertised that there was tea/coffee on site...but tea package said it expired in 2005 (we were there in April 2022) . There were 3 of us staying for 5 nights. We were provided with 3 towels and 3 washcloths. Owner was initially very friendly until we had a laundry mishap while washing said towels. We had to launder the towels and the white towels came out of laundry with a grayish tinge. Owners proceeded to charge us to replace them. Certainly left a sour taste in my mouth.

Stayed Dec 28, 2021PROS Location: close to Smithsonian and lots of restaurant choices, and in a quiet neighborhood. CONS In need of updating: Front entryway is dark, creepy and smells bad; needs more comfortable living room furniture (too hard), and add a couple of lamps for softer lighting; bedroom needs a TV and better mattress (ended up with a sore back). Also, since it’s listed to accommodate up to 6 people, needs a larger dining table/chairs in the living room. It would also be challenging to have six people in the apartment with a single bathroom that is very small. Overall, the appearance feels like a poorly completed do it yourself project with only the cheapest basic furnishings provided.

Stayed Apr 26, 2021Apartment was as described and perfectly fine for two adults. Proximity to nearest Metro was a short walk and the neighborhood itself was very quiet at night. Would stay here again!

Stayed May 4, 2019The location of Tony & Tommy's apartment was just right for biking DC. It's a three minute pedal to the Rock Creek trail which will take you north to the zoo or south to the national mall and all of the tourist attractions. It's also a short walk to numerous restaurants and bars in and around Dupont Circle; the neighborhood is nice and quite safe. There is a small grocery store just around the corner on P street that's very convenient. Tony & Tommy were there to greet us on arrival and explain everything we needed to know about the unit which was a help. The unit is clean, comfortable and equipped with pretty much everything you need. We had no problem cooking meals in the apartment on the nights we were to beat to hit a restaurant. The best feature was the optional parking right behind the unit. It was a must-have for us given our daily need for access to our vehicle and bikes. It's not included in the rental fee but well worth the extra cost in our case. Thanks Tony & Tommy!

Stayed Feb 23, 2018I could not have been happier with my stay. The location is very convenient to DuPont Circle. The apartment is so clean and comfortable, which is important to me. Tony is a lovely person and was an enormous help with dinner and walking suggestions. I could not have been more pleased.
