Excellent location for shopping and dining in Carmel. Walk to the beach. All the necessities and no hassles.

Clean, reservation was confusing at first, but worked out in the end.

We hiked down to the ocean. We walked out the door and meandered through town. We easily found parking nearby. The agents I spoke to were personable and easy to get a hold of.

The beds and living room furniture were very comfortable, and the two large screen TVs were most welcome during the evenings we wanted to stay in to watch a movie. The kitchen was well equipped to fix a meal from the groceries we bought at the farmers market two blocks away. The Hidden Gem restaurant just steps away from our door had the best breakfast in town. This was a very good value and the location was unbeatable.

Great location, parking was great little restaurant downstairs was wonderful, everything was walkable. Apartment is cute. Kitchen is great beds are comfortable. Bathroom needs to be upgraded but satisfactory. Thank you.

Great place in town and walking distance to restaurants and beach!

The location of this property was perfect for walking around downtown Carmel. The property itself was cozy, well-maintained, and nicely furnished.

While we were in town to present at the Sea Otter Classic bike expo, the location of this VRBO provided breakfast and dinner options in walking distance every day. Such an amazing little town.

Love Carmel. The Madden Suite was charming, comfortable, clean, and in a great location. It had everything we needed. Loved the chilled wine.

The place was cute but had a nasty smell

Bathroom shower the size of a postage stamp, bathroom sink tiny, and no hair dryer even though there was supposed to be one. Keurig machine in kitchen not working, kitchen sink had multiple chips. The grounds are poorly maintained with multiple trip hazards, including stairs that are difficult to navigate in part because of overgrown bushes. Parking was a nightmare.

This is our 1st time at this location. It is average. That being said it was a little less than most rentals. No air conditioning and it was unseasonably warm. When we arrived they had the heaters on so it took a while to cool down to be tolerable. They do have fans in the unit. It’s a comfortable layout. It could use a window air conditioner for sure and blackout shades. The restaurant below is fantastic. I would probably not stay here again especially if the weather is warm.

Comfortable, cozy, clean with all the comforts of home. Walking distance the ocean, restaurants and shops. We hardly wanted to leave during our stay and we were more than a little sad to have to go home. Love love love! If we could give this rental more than 5 stars we would. We can’t wait to come back!
