We were expecting a smaller place, but it was a perfect size for two. The flat was central to everything we wanted to see. The village is set on a hillside, so be prepared for some hill walks. Parking requires a hike up the public parking lot. Carmel is wonderful village! Our accommodations added to our enjoyment! Wonderful art and food!

Cute place, perfect for two. There's everything you would need if you're cooking in. But, with all the great restaurants nearby, why would you. Sitting on the balcony and sipping our wine and eating cheese and crackers was awesome. The bed was comfy as well as the furniture. We couldn't of had a better experience staying downtown, walking the sidewalks and visiting the shops. The host was quick with replies when we had questions. Thank you for a great vacation!

This is in an amazing location. You can walk to all the restaurants and shops - and stroll to the beach. Butttt bring your own linens unless you like sleeping on polyester (plastic). And if you don’t mind taking cold showers and seeing someone else’s urine in the toilet, this is perfect! The property manager was useless, they responded to my complaints about the cold shower with: “someone from our operations team will reach out”. Well that was two days ago and I’ve already left the property. Disappointing for how expensive this was.

Right in the middle of beautiful downtown Carmel! Our dogs were happy in the space and we were able to take them on walks easily. The apartment is right above some businesses making it easy to get exploring right away. The space itself was so cozy and a great vibe! Would definitely recommend to friends if they want to experience the heart of downtown Carmel! If you’re worried about it being too close to the restaurant/businesses, everything closes early or around 9:30pm in that area so it gets quiet by 10:00pm and the locals were always so friendly to us. We would love to come back and stay here again!

I just love the quaintness of this cottage. This is my second time staying there. And I will definitely stay again. I really love it.

Everything was wonderful. It felt like I was staying in a loft in Europe. I loved listening to the people at the restaurant bellow from the little balcony. The customer service was excellent. I did need there help finding it when I first arrived after. I was tired and it was dark. Someone answered the phone right away and helped with walking directions from my car. It had everything for a cozy getaway. I would definitely stay there again.

The property is accessible to everything that downtown Carmel offers. There are restaurants just outside its doors and the interior of the space is welcoming and darling. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and people watching and enjoying the beautiful weather.

Charming and a great location!

The walls are thin and parking was difficult (always a problem during car week), but none of that prevented us from having a great stay! It’s a charming little spot in a prime walkable location. If you are familiar with Carmel, this place really epitomizes the town. If you’re not familiar, everything is historic and full of personality.If you’re looking for the Four Seasons, this isn’t the place for you. If you want the local experience in a clean house that’s easy to stumble home to, it’s perfect!

The Artists Way was one of my favorite rentals I have ever stayed in. It is so cute and in such a great location for walking downtown. I highly recommend anyone coming to Carmel to stay here. I would absolutely stay here again!

Could not ask for better location. Right in the heart of downtown Carmel, steps away from great shopping and dining. The suite itself was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully updated without losing that Carmel charm. Will absolutely return.

My husband, son and I enjoyed our stay in this quaint, adorable space. Its nestled in the heart of Carmel, and I loved enjoying a glass of wine on the cute balcony. I was concerned about parking but it wasn’t an issue at all. This is a great space for a couple to stay. Very clean!
