Townsend is definitely the peaceful side of the Smokeys and this property serves our agenda perfectly with a great host!

The venue was nice and the location was excellent. Location pictures are somewhat untrue as the venue was in the top story of the building and as such the ceiling was much lower than expected. Also, the initial information given during check-in was too much. Instead of just presenting us with access; we were told what to do and not do. If I had time I would have walked away at that time because of that.

Loved our creekside apt! Rustic but extremely clean and welcoming. Our host (whose name has slipped my mind at the moment) was very accommodating and she made sure we had everything we needed. Enjoyed sitting in the creek, sitting in the porch, and visiting with other guests by the campfire. I will definitely stay here again!

The property was clean. Host had quick response when can opener wouldn't work and had one brought quickly. One of the twin beds was missing a top sheet, but my kids kick them off at home, so we didn't mind that. It was on the 3rd floor and the walk up isn't bad. The reason I rated it a 3 was the window air conditioner in the living room/twin bedroom/kitchen/dining room could not keep up. It was no less than 78 degrees in there according to the air conditioner (felt even warmer than that), until we woke up in the morning. I didn't bother the host with this issue, as there was really no quick fix for this issue. It was so hot, I had to pull one of the twin mattresses into my bedroom, so we could all get cool enough to sleep. I tried to put both twin mattresses in my bedroom, but it was blocking the door, so one kid slept with me in the bed and one kid slept on the mattress on the floor. The window air conditioner in my bedroom worked well for that amount of space, but I definitely would not stay in that rental during summer again, until they put in a mini-split to help cool the main area. It was a peaceful area to stay. I could always find a parking spot in the designated area. I cooked several meals there and it was sufficiently set up for that. My kids enjoyed having Netflix. We really liked the huge chaise lounge chair. Even with several families staying below and beside me, it was always really quiet. We didn't ever use the backyard, but it looked like a nice setup.

Nice location. Loved the river. The stairs to the 3rd floor were a bit much for 2 older people 60 ish. Flimsy mattress in our opinion on the queen sized bed.3 nights and our backs were broke. Check in was nice and check out easy all over the phone.Shared space with several other quest including our deck. They were out most of the time which left us in as it was a small soace. Need new outdoor furniture we did not even sit down looked dirty.Overall ok. Good for the price. Just nothing to write home about

Charming, super clean, well appointed, a modern updated bathroom, and QUIET refrigerator. Comfortable overall. Some traffic noise, but the sound of the running creek in back made up for it! Nice sitting porch with chairs. Owner Wendy was very hospitable.

This little hidden gem was the highlight of our stay in Tennessee for a loved one’s funeral. We were on the third floor , clean , trendy and the views are amazing pictures will not do it justice. I want to plan another trip to Tennessee just to stay there again. The grounds were lit up at night with a campfire - check in and out was contactless and seamless. There is a family restaurant downstairs which was super convenient being we got there at 8pm after a 9 hour drive. My family that visited us LOVED the patch too. It’s even convenient in bad weather with its location ! Would recommend over and over . 10 stars

We were very happy with our stay. It was a relaxing place. All of our needs were meet. The location was perfect. Quiet at all hours. If available on a future trip we would stay here.

It was nice but a lot of bugs just out side entrance door,management needs to spray for bugs. I like the location, so peaceful and calm and I can see mountain just from my window.

This was a perfect location as we visited Cades Cove early morning and again in the evening. It only took20 minutes to get to the beginning of the loop. The accommodation was great. We had brought a cooler which we unloaded into Walmart bags to get upstairs. We were able to prepare all Our meals will all the necessary utensils and Pots and pans. Check in was easy, a very comfortable atmosphere.

The accommodations were wonderful. It's a beautiful area located right by the river (which was one of our favorite parts about the accommodations), and conveniently located near the town. The apartment was very clean - pristine bathroom, kitchenette, and living area. The hosts were also easy to get in touch with and responded quickly to communications.

We stayed an entire week at the Strawberry Patch. We have been staying in Townsend for over 35 years but this was the first time at the Strawberry Patch. Will definitely make plans to stay again. Wendy was very accommodating with any request we had. Super Hostess...
