Stayed Dec 5, 2025First of all. Nowhere did it mention it being a second floor, the stairway is very unsafe for elderly, kids and very uncomfortable for luggage. In the main bedroom/top bunk has an uncovered outlet so we couldn’t use it for the kids. The beds had hair on the sheets from previous guest. And a mattress had a huge stain so that’s already 2 beds we couldn’t use. Small white pet hair was everywhere in the house. One of our friends is allergic to pet hair so had a very bad time during the stay. Bathroom sink cold water did not work and the hot water was extremely hot. Then turned on and didn’t turn off again. Kitchen was not maintained at all. Oven was disgustingly dirty. Microwave handle came right off as we try to open it. And top cover on microwave fell off as microwave door was first opened. Blinds on top of sink were dirty WiFi was not working for one whole day of us being there. I dropped some water and tried to wipe it clean with a paper towel and it came out dirty. Rug in living room smelled like pet pee. I am not the one to write bad reviews. And not the one to look for things to complain about. But this place did it for me. Host were polite and responded fast but does not make up with the dirty place we had to stay at.After paying the price we did with a cleaning fee: WE GOT ROBBED !

Stayed Jul 18, 2025I would give this place 2 stars. We were group of family with kids and luggages and we wasn't informed about the stairs I found it very inconvenient and dangerous. The AC's in the house is extremely loud and there's no AC in one of the bedrooms as well, no closets and no where to put your clothes away. If you need to stay there with family and kids I won't recommend this place.

Stayed Jun 27, 2025Exactly as listed, upon arrival we unloaded and went right to the city. The next morning we noticed there was only one coffee cup and no dish drainer. The host was contacted and within no time new coffee cups and the dish drainer was bought. The host was very easy to work with and allowed us in 3 hours earlier than allowed. Highly recommend a stay here

Stayed May 8, 2025We were a family with two small kids travelling from NZ for holiday. This property was not at all as described. We specifically asked before booking for an outdoor area as we had kids and family staying, they confirmed this would be available with a fire pit but upon check in there was no access and that they never said we could have access despite it being in the message inbox. This appears to be a townhouse but it’s actually only the upstairs of a split townhouse that has been self renovated very poorly. If you have luggage or small kids the stairs are really steep and difficult. They said full kitchen, with a dishwasher. That was not true, there were no cutting knives, chopping boards, glassware, no cooking utensils. Every cabinet was falling off, the skirting boards were missing, it was an unfinished renovation. It just got worse from there. The host seemed friendly and helpful but was actually deceptive and difficult. They said they would get the stuff they had listed for the kitchen, but didn’t. Finally we asked for a refund on our remaining nights to which they agreed to. We advised check out and they confirmed 5 nights refund, then only gave two. It was all just terrible communication. I think it was actually multiple people who manage the property so one person would say something and then someone else would say something completely different. We travel heaps and have mostly good experiences, some not good and that’s all part of it, but this place was the worst!
