There are so many reasons to love this duplex holiday home. For starters, the abundant living space comfortably allows a party of 8 to spread out without feeling cramped. The stylish interiors feature a large living & dining room flowing to a balcony, which also connects to the fully fitted kitchen, including a traditional filter coffee machine and a pods coffee machine, giving you 2 sets of outdoor dining options and a delightful view of the palm-dotted gardens. With air con to mitigate the balmy weather plus free Wi-Fi, you’ll feel at home in no time.
On the entrance level you will find a large reformed kitchen (2018) and a spacious living room. Both the kitchen and living room has access to a terrace overlooking the garden and pool.
The en-suite master bedroom, with a king size bed, is on the lower floor. It also has a private terrace overlooking the garden and pool. Between the lower floor and the entrance level there is a split level with three bedrooms, two reformed bathrooms and a toilet. All three has twin beds that can be pushed together if needed.
The taste of the high life The expansive roof terrace encapsulates all the allure of coastal living. Set against the majestic Sierra Blanca mountains, it has everything for alfresco entertaining: an outdoor kitchen and dining area, and a lounge area with comfortable seating. However, the icing on the cake is the private plunge pool, which creates that feeling of intimacy and indulgence. But, if what really matters to you is location, this also forms part of the package at this holiday rental.
Castiglione is a prestigious gated community with an outdoor pool set in lush tropical gardens. It has direct access to the San Pedro beach promenade, which goes all the way to Marbella. The location is about as good as it gets and you can leave the car home. Castiglione is in the heart of the beach lifestyle action but still enjoys a quiet location for a relaxed holiday. You can choose from an array of restaurants and beach bars, along the waterfront or in the town itself. Both San Pedro town and Puerto Banus are a flat, easy stroll away.
The property is located in a no party urbanisation. There is to be no late night noise nor any anti-social / disruptive behaviour. There is no elevator.

LOCATION
San Pedro Alcantara is a coastal town wedged between Marbella and Estepona and, despite its proximity to glamorous Marbella, has managed to remain unspoilt. Very traditional and laidback, it attracts the type of visitor looking for a more low-key holiday.
Although San Pedro is small, it is a vibrant town abuzz with restaurants, bars, bakery cafes and ice cream parlours. The food scene is both local and international, with Irish pubs, Asian restaurants, Dutch bars all next to traditional Spanish bars and restaurants. There are a couple of well-priced supermarkets (Mercadona, Maskom, Carrefour and Día), a 24-hour pharmacy and boutiques. Thursday is street market day, a true bargain hunter’s paradise. The Boulevard is fast becoming the heart of San Pedro and a favourite with children with a total of six playgrounds and a skateboard area. Adults can sit around nearby, or go to one of the bar/restaurants for a drink, a snack or a meal.
Nueva Alcantara is the new part of town with wide tree-lined avenues leading down to the beach. On the waterfront, the 2 km sweeping tiled promenade serves as an open-air gym with exercise machines and is always bustling with joggers, strollers and dog walkers. It is dotted with chiringuitos all the way along, most of them offering Mediterranean cuisine and, of course, the ubiquitous thirst-quenching tinto de verano. The promenade also links up to Puerto Banus and it is possible to walk all the way to Marbella along the sea front.
Don't expect any wild nightlife. A night out typically consists of a meal and a few drinks at a local bar - although there are a couple of salsa clubs- or a moonlight stroll along the beach promenade. If you're looking for a big party night, Marbella and Puerto Banús are a short drive away.
For sporting activities, there are many options. Very close by is the Nueva Alcantara Club with 16 padel courts and the I/O gym. The adjacent residential area of Guadalmina is also known for its well-kept golf courses. If you just want to hit a few balls, try the Guadalmina public driving range (Located close to the Barceló Hotel). For a bit more action for the kids, the Cable Ski Marbella, next to the driving range, offers wakeboard, kneeboard, and water-ski lessons. The road to Ronda starts at San Pedro so experienced cyclists can enjoy a challenging but beautiful ride.

The penthouse apartment was tired and in need of being decorated The cleanliness was not up to what we expected The pool had many tiles missing and we were told they would be fixed but that never happened Many of the dishes were chipped The pictures of the furniture in the apartment was not as we found it There was a problem with the safe that was resolved but only after we missed our trip to Gibraltar as the passports were in the safe and we could not access them The swimming pool was suppose to be cleaned when we were there and we never noticed this happening Instruction book needs to be updated with the right instructions for the equipment in the apartment Lovely complex and nice and quiet stay would have been better if the apartment was clean and decorated to the standard advertised I would advise that the owners update their listing
We stayed in the Penthouse apartment (for the second time) and one of our daughters family had the garden apartment below. Once again the apartment was a real delight to stay in and the complex is excellent. We particularly like the roof top patio with the barbeque and pool which the children loved. The lower patio is also very good with the views over the complex pool towards the sea. We spent many late nights drinking our cocktails. There are many varied restaurants within walking distance and Puerto Banus with its marina, yachts and cars is about a 30 minute walk away. I can thoroughly recommend this complex and the two apartments, Colleen dealt with all my queries prior to the holiday and everything went very smoothly, very easy to deal with. I am sure that we will visit again in the future. The lift to the apartment was a bit erratic and good do with a good service.
Everything was as it said it would be, from the location, views, comfort and cleanliness. Any issues where dealt with quick and efficiently. communication was great and we felt well looked after. we will definitely be rebooking.

The accommodation has everything you could ever need when holidaying in San Pedro. The roof top pool and outdoor space is the crowning jewel and it makes this accommodation first class. Minor maintenance points including stairwell lighting and stair tiles, also would be good to have both lifts working.
As a group of 8 female friends we were absolutely delighted with the penthouse. The rooftop pool and barbecue area are out of this world. The balcony outside the kitchen was beautiful for breakfast. The kitchen is hi tech and has everything you could possibly want. There are several restaurants within a few minutes walk. Marabierta was our favourite for dinner followed by Kala Kalua for lunch by the sea. The only thing we thought would be an improvement would be a hand rail going down the steps at the rooftop pool.
