2. Cozy 2 bedroom apartment, Steps from the beach

Great place, close to the beach and restaurants. I will definitely come back.

Aside from the properties' proximity to the beach, there are no pros to staying there! I have never rented a place, in any state, where it isn't customary to leave a note with directions that include anything from how to use the TVs to taking out the garbage. There was nothing. We had called the apartment management numerous times, and never received a call or text back. The two times we did get called back, it was after a lengthy wait, and we received most of our answers from the neighbors. The laundry is in a different apartment complex down the road. It is in the basement of a parking garage. There is one machine, and no light bulb in the room. People did not feel comfortable going there. There were virtually no ameneties, we made eggs in a soup pan, the towel bar was falling off of the wall, batteries in 2 of the 3 tv remotes were dead and we had to buy some. There were 4 towels (one for each of us), hardly any silverware, two impractical pans, 4 beat up beach chairs, etc. No where on the VRBO listing does it mention a charge to park your car in THEIR parking lot. This was the 1st property we ever rented at Hollywood beach that charged us 245 to park our car, and we found out about that charge two days before the trip. When I called them, they said it was in the fine print. We received the code for the door t 11pm the night before we left for vacation. There are really nicely run, clean properties in HB. This isn't one of them. STAY AWAY. DONT RENT

Location is awesome. Right in the middle of Hollywood beach boardwalk with plenty of things to do in walking distance. Place was clean and comfortable
