Stayed Feb 20, 2026Misleading and Convoluted This went wrong in so many ways. The listing was misleading. It is called “2 Combined Apartments Near Kerrytown Concert House.” In reality, one apartment was on the 6th floor and was on the 7th. Very frustrating because we were in town for a reunion and all we wanted to do was be together. The check-in process is convoluted. The instructions to check in start with “Park somewhere…” which is challenging in downtown Ann Arbor. Then you have to hunt and identify the correct lock boxes among about a dozen hanging on a pole in the parking garage. To open these, you must use information provided via text from the renter, but we received multiple texts from multiple numbers and it was hard to find the right information. Some of the texts also included errors, such as listing 4 digits for a lock box that only accepts 3.The help desk person was rude, then ignored us. When we successfully got into one of the two apartments, we called for help to get into the second one. At first, the person on the phone tried to help us by sending information for the next lock box number and code. But when we mentioned our frustration about the apartments not being combined, he was rude and unsympathetic. Ultimately, the information the help desk person sent us was incorrect, so we were locked out of the second apartment for the night. When we tried to call back for help, no one answered the phone. So much more to say, but there's a character limit.
